"Are you almost ready? For someone who was unsure about this party you sure know how to keep everyone waiting!" Heidi complained, impatiently tapping her foot as she stood outside Meadow's room with her arms folded across her chest in a huff. Heidi was dressed as poison ivy, painted almost head to toe in green face paint. Ivy leaves sewen onto a short green dress that was showing her cleavage. Her lips were painted perfectly in red lipstick, her nails were even painted to match. A long red wig she'd neatly layered with leaves and flowers and red high heels to tie the whole costume together. Keegan kicked her leg back and forth slowly as she sat on the arm of the sofa distracting herself with her phone screen. Despite the invitation being completely last minute she'd gathered the help of Jade and Harper to put together a costume. She was dressed as Vi from Arcane. She'd borrowed the red jacket from Harper since she'd had a wardrobe of different cosplay for the past few years for different conventions she attended. The rest of the costume was a mixture of different clothing she had already in her closet. Jade had helped her style her dreads in a certain way to add to the outfit while Harper helped with her make up, drawing the characters signature tattoo on her cheek. Harper let out a deep sigh as she flopped onto the sofa impatiently. Despite being dressed in a revealing mortal kombat costume she found a way to flop comfortably onto the sofa. Keegan lifted her eyes from her phone screen to see Jade leaning back against the sofa, a smirk plastered on her face as her eyes fixated on Heidi. Jade was dressed up as Misa from death note. A short black dress exposing her thighs in fishnets, thick black boots with a collection of necklaces dangling from her neck. She even dawned a nicely brushed blonde wig to go with it.

"If you're gunna just stand there and drool over her you might as well just shoot your shot." Keegan suggested as Jade simply nodded back at her slowly. Keegan rolled her eyes and shook her head before she was quickly fixated on Meadow as she stepped out her bedroom. The corners of her mouth turned up in a smile as Meadow stood nervously in front of Heidi dressed in a short black velvet dress with bat sleeves, a black cape draped around her. Her face had been painted in pale coloured face paint with blood coloured paint from the corners of her bottom lip down to her chin. She wore thin black tights with spider web patterns along with thick high heels to bring it together. Her hair was tied back in two pigtails to keep it out her face.

"I didn't know what to dress up as." Meadow sighed as Heidi simply chuckled, pulling her in for a hug as Meadow happily returned the embrace.

"You look great!" Heidi complimented as Meadow then pulled away to take Keegan's hand in hers without a second thought as Heidi began to lead the way out the house, locking the door behind them as they all followed her down the street towards the party.

"Guys keep an eye out for anything. We all know this is the perfect time of year for Damien's shit." Keegan whispered as Harper and Jade nodded back at her before Jade quickly hurried beside Heidi's side.

"You don't think he'll be at this party do you?" Meadow whispered as she looked over at Keegan. Keegan paused for a moment before answering, she had a rare unsure look on her face as she looked back at her.

"I'm not sure, I've seen him try shit at this time of year. We've got you, I promise." Keegan whispered in response as she leaned in to softly kiss the top of Meadow's head.

They followed Heidi inside the house one by one, Meadow trying to squeeze past the crowds of people in search of a drink, turning round to see Keegan had already faded into the crowd of people. The music was blasting too loud to shout her name in hopes she'll hear her. She suddenly found herself being gripped by her wrist, swiftly being tugged from the swarm of people. She threw her arms round the male figure standing in front of her without a second thought. She slowly tilted her head up slightly to see who it was. It was Aidan dressed in all black with his face painted like a skeleton, his eyes were fixated on scanning the room as he rested his hand on Meadow's back. He held her close against him as he then threw his hand up in the air to wave someone over towards him.
