Yesterday's kiss felt like an unimaginable dream. She kissed the girl who saved her life in the alley. Keegan. She kissed Keegan yet she still found herself wanting more. They aren't even official. They aren't even dating. It was a heat of the moment kiss.
"Are you gunna eat that or just let it go cold?" Heidi interrupted pointing her fork towards the plate on her lap that had a waffle with maple syrup and strawberries on it. Meadow shook her head as she snapped back to reality, she broke off a piece with her fork before sliding in her mouth. Heidi grinned at her, placing her bowl of cereal down on the coffee table as she shifted herself up right, crossing her legs as she clapped her hands together.
"What?" Meadow shook her head at her as she looked at the giddy look plastered across her face, she could already guess what she was going to ask.
"What do you mean what!? You never told me how your date went! I'd take offence but considering you were all over the place when you came home last night I can assume it went well!" Heidi cheered as she leaned in towards her. Meadow shifted up right, placing her plate on the coffee table. Her cheeks were already a fluster from just the thought of yesterday's date.
"It went better than I expected. We..kissed." She mumbled with a blush. Heidi squealed with joy as she almost dived at her. She clapped her hands together with joy before letting out a heavy sigh of relief.
"Anddddd?" Heidi probed, on the edge of her seat hoping Meadow would spill every last detail to her.
"It was...intense. I could barely feel my legs after it, I felt ways I'd never felt with Declan in a long time. Her lips were so soft.." Meadow spilled as she could feel herself getting worked up all over again. She had to calm herself down, exhaling softly to slowly calm her racing thoughts. Heidi leaned back, shaking her head with a proud expression on her face.
"You were a baby gay now you're slowly growing!" She announced proudly, pretending to wipe a tear from her face as Meadow rolled her eyes back at her with a chuckle before getting to her feet with a stretch.
"I'm gunna go out for a bit." She announced as she wondered off to her bedroom to get ready. Heidi didn't even need to ask where she was planning on going.
Meadow stepped off of the bus, pulling her phone from her tote bag to check her reflection in the screen. She gently brushed loose strands of hair from her face before entering the building, almost flew up the stairs as she raced towards Keegan's apartment. She took a deep breath before knocking on the front door, waiting for a response. Her mouth turned up in a huge smile as the door began to open with a creak before she suddenly stepped back in surprise from the sight of a man standing in front of her. He was dressed in a black t-shirt, torn skinny black jeans with worn out converse and a leather jacket. His dark brown hair was tied up in a small bun, his bright green eyes fixated on Meadow as she stood in front of him.
"D..Do I have the wrong apartment?" Meadow asked nervously as a small chuckle escaped his lips before turning to call out into he apartment.
"Keegan, you have a guest!" He called out as he gave Meadow a small wink before he walked back into the apartment. Meadow's smile quickly reappearing as Keegan emerged, leaning against the brace of the door as she gazed upon her.
"Bambi, what can I do for you?" She asked with a soft grin. Meadow's cheeks blushed as she smiled back at her, getting a slight glimpse of her stomach as she raised her arms in the air.
"I..wanted to see you. I can't stop thinking about our date yesterday." Meadow replied as she nervously tugged at her denim skirt. Keegan chuckled back at her before she briefly looked her up and down. Keegan lowered her arms as she leaned in towards her before suddenly being interrupted by her friend.
