Lydia's pov
When I opened the door I was surprised to see Paul. "We need to talk" he said  "outside?" he asked gesturing to the swing

I reluctantly grabbed my jacket.

"I'm tired of you always being around." Wasting no time Paul verbally delivered the first blow.

"What?" I asked incredulously

"I told you we're done, you need to see other people but you keep popping up like the last night in the club there you were." he continued

"You're mad that you ran into me?"I  exclaimed in  disbelief

"I'M NOT MAD… I just thought I could go let loose a little not worry about running into you but there you were with that guy…" he stated with distaste

"Jealous?" I muttered annoyed

"Excuse me?" He balked, his response annoyed me more than I was

"Are you jealous that I was talking to someone else?" I asked looking at Paul

"No, I was annoyed you'd purposely make me jealous" he replied coldly

"You really thought I said hmmm I'm off work I think I'll go to the club and have a drink with the first man that looks my way?" I angrily retorted, offended he thought I would act like some tart. "WELL I'VE GOT NEWS FOR YOU PAUL I HAPPEN TO HAVE MORE CLASS THAN THAT!! AND THE REASON I WAS CONSTANTLY SEEING YOU, BRINGING YOU FOOD, DRINKS, AND JUST TRYING TO BE THERE FOR YOU IS BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT YOU DO WHEN YOU CARE ABOUT SOMEONE! YOU DON'T PUSH THEM AROUND LIKE A PEA ON A PLATE" I screeched

"I'M NOT PUSHING YOU AROUND I'M ENDING EVERYTHING BETWEEN US BECAUSE I CAN'T HURT YOU…not again" he admitted at first shouting then finishing his sentence to a whisper

"oh yes because pushing me away couldn't possibly hurt me" I sarcastically retorted

"Lydia I'm begging you to move on and you're not moving on" he lectured loudly

"DID YOU THINK MOVING ON WOULD JUST BE EASY FOR ME?" I erupted with anger "IT'S ONLY BEEN THREE WEEKS BUT HERE YOU GO MAKING UP YOUR MIND  AGAIN, DEMANDING I MAKE UP MINE TOO." I added not caring if anyone heard me.

"YOU CAN'T EVEN MAKE UP YOUR MIND ABOUT YOUR FAVORITE COLOR HOW COULD YOU MAKE A SERIOUS DECISION LIKE THIS ON YOUR OWN" He yelled back

"WHAT THE HELL MAKES YOU QUALIFIED TO MAKE A DECISION LIKE THIS THEN?" I spouted back

Paul looked at me, anger filled his face, with a new hateful gleam in his eyes striking fear into my soul. I wasn't going to back down though there was too much fire in my heart to back off
"I need you to move on. Please Lydia move on" he implored with a growl

"You can't expect me to pretend I don't know you when I see you, we dated remember?" I spat back

"I don't care" he said coldly turning to leave. he made it off the porch steps before I decided to be just as hateful

"IS THIS WHAT YOU MEANT WHEN YOU SAID YOU HAD SOMETHING TO TELL ME? "  I shouted

Paul turned around "what?"

In your last letter before you shipped home, you said you had something to tell me. Were you already planning on breaking up with me before all of this?" I demanded

He awkwardly shrugged, "I never loved you" he harshly stated before walking off in a huff ending our conversation.

He muttered something that sounded more like a cussing that's when I noticed Aiello and Zussman standing on the walkway witnessing the whole thing. I opened the door and invited them in, glancing at Paul as he drove away. We were officially done. there'd be no second chances to our relationship. It was gone forever.
