Autumn Kingsley
Kaden waves a dark, midnight blue dress in front of my face.
Pushing his hand away, I separate the variety of dresses that were hung up on the clothing racks neatly.
One specific dress catches my eye and I carefully remove it from of where it was hanging. I'm not much of a dress person if I'm being honest, but this looked pretty.
It's more of something Raven or Lilah would wear.
Oh my god.
I take my phone out of my pocket before opening up mine and Raven's chat.
what colour did lilah say she wanted
her dress in?raven hurry your ass up
Lilah and Grace's one year anniversary was in a few days, four to be exact. She asked if me or Raven could buy her a dress since she had to study for an exam.
I groan, impatiently waiting for her response.
Exhaling slowly, I watch as the three dots appear on the bottom left corner of our chat.
Blue?
Midnight blue to be specificalright
thank youNo worries tums
Can you come over later?I stare at the message, contemplating whether or not I tell her Atlas told me we had a partner project due in next week.
Can't you believe it? He waited 5 days to tell me we had a project to work on.
sorry i can't
i have this project to doThat's alright just come over soon
I miss having you around here :(will do :)
I smile before putting my phone back in my pocket. "Kaden psst."
Startled, he turns around. "Yeah?"
"Can you hand me over the dress you just had earlier?" I hang the dress I was currently holding in my hands back up before walking over to where he was.
He takes the dress and hands it over to me. "Are you buying it?"
"Yeah but not for me." I run my hands over the fabric of the skirt of the dress whilst skimming my eyes over the lace material of the bodice.
