Chapter 11: Claiming Sang.

I finally finished!

I help Indila to carry the dishes to the sink after dinner. She stares at me with a smile that I pretend not to see. Until it's there for long.

"You didn't say you had a boyfriend"

"I... It's complicated"

Please drop it.

"Is he in your team?" She asks.

"He is"

"Oh"

Her oh sounds worried.

"What?"

"Isn't it complicated? Feelings in a team? That's why The Academy doesn't really like to mix"

I look at her, frozen.

"Oh, baby. I was just saying... is it why you are not talking? Because you and Kota are together?"

"No, it's not that. I just..."

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"Not really. Sorry"

She smiles at me, but it's sad.

"That's okay. Slow down, uh? I have to slow down".

I don't know what to answer, so I don't.

There is no way I'm going to be talking about my nine boyfriends and our broken relationship anytime soon. I don't know this family. I don't know how they'll react. Maybe they'll never want to hear from me again, because if there's something I've learn is that blood doesn't make families.

"It's complicated" I repeat.

Kota's point of view.

Kota: It was her brother the other night.

Luke: Dude, how did you find out?

Kota: I asked.

North: Oh. How did she react when you told her we thought she was with someone else? Is Baby mad at us?

Kota: I didn't really mention you. But she was... amused.

Gabriel: *Relieve face*

Sean: I told you! :D

Mr.Blackbourne: As far I can recall, Dr. Green, it was me.

Sean: But I thought about it.

The phone keeps buzzing with more messages. When I look up, Jonathan who sits in front of me, stares at me. I sight and put the cellphone down.

I stare back.

Leo, sitting in the other couch is playing video games with Roman, but he's starin at us and laughing. By his side, Roman just shruggs.

"Man, this big brother/boyfriend stuff is hilarious. I want a little sister"

"You're only child" Roman points out. He kills Leo's character and looks over at him.

"Hey, that's a shitty move, bro".

"Nobody said life was fair" He says serioisly. If Jonathan weren't making holes in my head with his eyes, I probably I would have laughed.

  And despite everything, I understand; If Jessica started dating, I'd probably ask Victor to check on him. It's not that I don't trust Jessica, because I do... I just find hard to trust anyone outside family.

I cannot blame him.

"I guess I'll just steal Sang from you".

I turn to Leo as soon as he lets the.word out of his mouth. I'm about to snap at him when Roman hits the back of his neck.
