Gabriel's Point Of View.
Trouble walks to the door and opens up without even looking through the hole in it. I want to yell about it, but since we just got her back and we're in such a bad mood, I keep quiet. I turn to check if someone else noticed, and they did: Mr. B is frowning while North is struggling with the tiny overprotective voice in his head that freaks out for whatever that happens.
Trouble freezes. Half of us stand up instantly, waiting for danger. We feel like this everytime because of Volto, that crazy mother fucker. We expect danger and fake bombs and... Not a boy's voice in my girlfriend's house. Definitely not.
Or him kissing my girl's cheeks!
"We passed to Carl Junior in the drive through and we brought you one. I thought you may want some meat in your bones..."
And he sees us.
Yes, dude. She's not alone.
I start to rant in my head until I actually see him. And I see her in him.
Not entirely. He doesn't look small and feminine like she does, of course. He's pretty much the opposite, but when I see his face, I can find Sang's. It's kind of creepy, finding the male version of Trouble.
He study us, and we do the same. We exchange looks, because even when we planned on meeting him, we weren't prepared, even with the things Kota told us about him. It doesn't matter, though, because that's what we do: We get in action even when we're not ready. It's not different today.
But we don't expect either a boy who comes through the door and winks at Sang.
Trouble looks panicked.
"Sweet thing! You missed me? Shut up, I know you missed me. I mean. You look beautiful today. New hair style? I like it" He kisses her twice and hughs her, touching her hair with his hands.
TOUCHING HER HAIR.
Who the hell does he think he is to touch my girl's beautiful hair?
I'm about to yell, but Mr. Blackbourne sees it coming and grabs my arm. The mother fucker who dared touching Trouble's hair eyes us, frowning.
She's not lonley. What are you gonna do about it?
I see Mr. Blackbourne in the corner of my eye moving to face the situation. It's tense when two families are fighting for a person.
But then he stops, because we cannot make damage control when we don't look at the whole picture, so when another boy comes in, we hold our breathes and wait. Frozen.
He is tall and dark, with a serious expression in his eyes. He comes in quietly, smiling lightly at Sang and kissing her forehead.
They look... close.
The fire also known as jealousy runs to my veins, burning my heart.
I dislike them.
I'd wish that was all. But no, it's not. There is one more. One that comes throuh the door with red roses and smiles to Sang. I know that smile. I've seen it in the mirror when I think of her and in my brothers faces. I see hope. Hope that'll she love me back, hope that I have a chance.
Oh, no. No, no, no, no!
I can't stand it. I won't.
I step fordward to face the son of a bitch, but something happens: North does it before I get a chance. He crashes against the boy who wants to take her from us and pushes him against the wall with a sound of someone who'll have terrible headache in a few moments.
North is the most emotional in our group and sometimes that is a problem. Because emotions make him impulsive. But today, in this moment, I couldn't be prouder.
Good, North.
But apparently, Sang doesn't feel like that. She screams.
And with that, war begins.
"North! North, stop it! Let him go!".
Jonathan and the blonde guy who called Trouble Sweet Thing go to North, punching him and kicking him to get off the mother fucker.
And Luke and Silas are the first one to react, because Luke is his brother and even when they fight like dogs and cats, they love each other. And Silas is North's best friend before any of us were.
The other guy, the tall and dark, fights with them both, making Luke crash against the wall. I see everyone move then: Mr. Blackbourne and Dr. Green try to stop it by going to North, but doesn't go too well when Jonathan grabs him by the neck and slams his head agaist the door. I go to help Luke get up and see if he's too hurt while Nathan gets all Karate Kid with Tall. Blonde gets to Mother Fucker and gets him out the way, but it doesn't matter, because the war is still going.
Until Sang yells.
Sang's point of view.
They are fighting. They are trying to kill themselves!
It hurts to see my twin hitting North and Roman hitting everyone in his way. And them fighting back.
I'm scared.
"Stop it, you cavemen! Stop it!"
They don't. Meanie and Luke do, though: They look at me. But I need the rest of them to listen. I need to make them listen.
Jonathan hits Owen in the jaw and I scream. I need to stop it!
So I get close.
"Sang! No!" Gabriel yells at me, standing up. But it's too late.
I reach Jonathan's elbow and pull. And then it happens, almost in slow motion: He turns to me in perfectly trained moves, puts his hand in my throat and pushes me back against the wall, where my skull hits. Hard.
The fight stops.
Pain explodes.
The whole word stops for a moment that seems to last forever. In that tiny forever, I see my twin's eyes go wide at what he's done. He takes his hands off slowly.
Black dots dance in my eyes.
I can't breathe.
I can't stand. My knees don't hold my weight, so I let them make me fall.
I hear my name.
"Sang!" They shout.
It doesn't matter.
I'm slipping away.
I know! It's too short! But I just finished homework and my head isn't working propperly. And I still don't know what happens next, so It would have been another week for you to have a chapter.
:P
