Chapter 22 : New life, new job

It was another morning and Chuuya didn't want to wake up. 2 and a half months had passed in a blink of an eye since Chuuya "died" and he who used to wake early to go to work now is a lot more lazy after spending this time doing nothing.

"Chuuya this cannot continue..." Said Liam with a serious expression as he looked at the ginger who was still laying in bed.

"Hm...?" mumbled Chuuya not paying attention to what the other was saying.

"Look it's already been at least 2 months now, you can't just keep hiding here you now. Why don't you just go there and tell them " Hey Im not dead" and go back to your past life..." he said annoyed that Chuuya didnt even care to sit up and listen to what he had to say.

"Why would i do it now? They believe i'm dead and as you said its been some time, so lets keep it that way..." replied Chuuya not even looked in Liam's direction.

"Damn it Chuuya! You don't even go outside because you dont want someone to recognize you! Why are you so against the idea to solve this matter?!" yelled Liam.

"I'm gonna be honest with you Liam..."
Said Chuuya finally sitting up on the bed.

Working at the Mafia isn't easy, you should already know that right? It's not easy to quit either but i've been given à second chance. This life is my second life since i died, i have that chance to leave my past life and start a new one from the beginning, i can finally become a better person, get a new and normal job, i dont want to loose that chance by going back to that past life..." he said with a serious expression and Liam looked at him surprised then sat next to Chuuya looking guilty.

"I see.. Your right i should have thought about that and not pressure you to go back to the Mafia. I'm really sorry... But dont worry, I will support you and help you in your new life! What would you like to do now then?" asked Liam with enthousiast.

"Oh thank you Liam, i plan to spend the rest of my days comfortably like what im doing now, you see getting to have everything i need but using your work to get it~" said Chuuya laying back down with a smile. Liam clenched his fists trying to stay calm.

"You... YOU BASTARD! I'M WORKING MY ASS OFF TO MAKE SURE THAT WE ALL HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT AND WHERE TO LIVE. YET YOU JUST STAY IN YOUR ROOM ALL DAY DOING NOTHING!" He yelled angrily not being able to remind calm anymore.

"Thank you for your hard work Liam-sama, keep it up!!" replied the ginger which annoyed Liam even more. He took Chuuya's pillow and hit him with it .

"Nevermind... I'm going to work now do whatever you want ..." said Liam as he left the room. Chuuya looked as he left then started to feel kinda guilty.

After all Liam did work a lot until late at night and both Chuuya and the girl could see that he looked really tired lately. After Chuuya woke up, Dazai left and never came back to see them, he was like a father who left home leaving the poor mother to do all the work to raise the children. Yet even if Liam should be the eldest, he's stuck in his body of a 17 years old boy so Chuuya should take the role of the mother... Well he took it... The mother that do nothing and let her kids do all the work...

Even the girl who is about Liam's age tried to help with earning money but even if she's a cold blooded murderer she's extremely shy and cant talk properly to people which make it difficult to find a small job. Chuuya sighed then got out of his room, he saw the girl in the living room sitting on the couch with a computer on her lap.

"What are you doing?" he asked sitting next to her.

"I'm looking for a job... one that doesn't make me interact with people..." she said not looking at Chuuya. He stayed silent for a moment then took the computer from her.
