Chapter 31 : Starting the rescue

"Your quite late i thought you'll get here sooner " said the person as Dazai walked closer with a smile.

"Well sorry to make you wait for so long Ranpo" said Dazai with an innocent smile.

"Good luck" replied Ranpo.

Atsushi walked inside the office with a smile, the case was going forward so he was happy to think that they would be able to solve it soon.

"Good morning everyone!" He said but no one answered, every member of the ADA were herebut theire expressions were terrible.

"Uh? What's going on? Did someone die or something ??" Asked the young man in a joke.

"Ranpo did..." answered Kunikida and Atsushi's eyes widned.

"No way, it's impossible ! Stop it it's not funny guys...." he said socked, he didn't want to believe it he just hoped that the detective would come in with a smile whilr eating some snacks and say that it was a joke.

"Im sorry... but it's true... he was find dead at 4 am this morning, he got murdered..." replied Yosano holding back her tears. Atsushi stayed silent as his mind went blank, then he turned around and runned away. He couldn't stop his tears frome falling, he just couldn't belive that of all the person Ranpo died. He stoped running after some time and tryed to calme down.

"Calme down Atsushi... crying won't solve anything... think Atsushi think... That has something to do with the murder case for sure... but who could have done that? Wait what if Ranpo left something ? A note? He surely knew what would happen and left something behind right??? I should ask Dazai for help- No that a bad idea...." said Atsushi to himself, Dazai was the only that didn't came to the office this morning and he had some weird conection with the murder case. Even if Atsushi wanted to deny it he knew deep down that Dazai could be the one to do all of this.  He then got a message frome- Ranpo?? It was an adresse, but even if it was from Ranpo he didnt get high hopes for the detective to actually be alive. He went to the place and find himself in front of a door, he knocked and waited. The door finally opened and-

"Come on i can at least open the door grandpa, it's not like im gonna die or something... so annoying... Who are you kid?" Asked the unknown man who opened the door.

"Im Atsushi- Wait- YOUR RAPHAËL MILLET ??? BUT AREN'T YOU DEAD???!!" Yelled Atsushi as he reconized the guy's face, Liam looked at him with surprise then left and right before dragging Atsushi inside and closing the door.

"Are you crazy yelling that name like that??? Tho i am dead in that world it doesn't mean you need to let everyone know that there is another me!!!" He shouted angrily.

"Im sorry!" Replied Atsushi feeling stupid.

"But what's going on??" Asked the young man.

"Grandpa while give you the message that the detective left go in the leaving room..." said Liam as he walked away. Atsushi went into another room and saw Fukuzawa siting there with a cat.
He walked toward him then Fukuzawa gave him a letter. Atsushi took it and started to read.

"If you read this im dead, and this is all knew informations about Raphaël's Millet murder case :

To make it clear frome the start, Raphaël and Liam are the same person.
Frome what Haruko said he had a huge age gap with his birth date because he was dead for 4 years before getting revived. She did not say why he died but that has something to do with his ability. 

Liam knew Chuuya and Dazai when they where 18 years old, there is no more informations about how they met and what theire relationship was.

Liam was the one to help Dazai in reviving Chuuya then took care of him before Dazai took him away.

Dazai killed Liam, since he started to become bothersome, he wanted to help Chuuya to get away frome Dazai.

I met the other Liam by chance, frome what he said he appeared in Japan out of nowhere and didn't knew Chuuya and Dazai, he met Chuuya in a parc  later on and he helped him. But he said that Chuuya did not know him. He must have had a brainwash frome Dazai so that he won't run away. Chuuya's whereabout is unknown.

Haruko refused to say anything about herself. But i think there is another person in all this weird case... they must be the one behind Chuuya being alive, Liam's age gap and this other Liam... But where is that person is something i still dont know. If only i had more time...Dazai while surely kill me soon.

This may be a lot to ask for but please end this case.

Atsushi tryed his best to not cry as he put the letter on the table.

"Im sure you'll do well, after all Ranpo trust you to be able to put Dazai in jail" said Fukuzawa which encouraged Atsushi.

"I'll do it! But i would like to talk to Raph- Liam." Atsushi looked everywhere in the house for the man but he was nowhere to be found.

"He left???!!!" Shouted Atsushi as he looked at the door.

Liam walked out the house when no one was watching. He knew everything that was going on but it didn't scare him, thanks to his ability he knew where to find Dazai and was going to meet him. It didnt took too long to find him, he purposely bumped into him.

"What-" Dazai's eyes widned when he saw Liam in front of him.

"Im sorry i didn't saw you" said Liam with a smile.

"You-" Dazai glared at Liam

"Hm? Why are you looking at me like this? Do i know you??" He said acting dumb.

'Damn im sure me frome this world actually had a crush on that guy since he is kinda my type... what an idiot now he's dead and someone put me here...' he thought annoyed.

"Oh i thought you were someone else sorry..." said Dazai and walked away.

'Good now he'll think about how to get ride of me while i will follow him to see where he keeps Chuuya.' thought Liam as he started to follow Dazai.

"Im back" shouted Liam as he walked inside the house.

"Where did you go ?? It's dangerous for you to go out !" Yelled Atsushi completly panicked.

"Even if i die it doesn't matter , i met Dazai and followed him so now i know where Chuuya is" said Liam as he went to dit on the couch.

"You met him??? Now he know you existe why did you do that???!!! But also mind already know that there is another person in that case!!!"

"So what if he suspect that there is someone else involvedn? He already know it for sure, that person is too powerfull for him anyway... Now that he knows it he will do anything to know who and where they are, he'll do all the work for us." Replied Liam and Atsushi looked at him not knowing what to say.

"Now we have to take Chuuya away, the sooner the better let's do it now let's do it this way..."

I updated yesterday but i want to finish this story as soon as possible so i wrote another chapter. So yes it will soon be over, not really but it's slowly ending now it will start to get even worse : )
