Chapter 14 : Request

"I can carry you just shut up..." said Dazai annoyed while he gently took Liam and put him on his back. Dazai did his best to not hurt his wounds in any way or else this idiot would complain.

"Alright i will guide you to her, but only on one condition"

"What's the condition?..." Dazai frowned in annoyance, actually thinking of letting go of the young man and letting him crash to the ground. But right now Liam kind of had Chuuya's life at his fingertips, one wrong move from Dazai and Liam will let this hope of reviving his former partner fall and shatter. All Dazai had to do is listen obedient to the young man, he only had to let himself be control by a kid... He hated this but Dazai would do anything to get his chess piece back, after he gets what he wanted he can get rid of Liam once and for all.

"It's really nothing special, I just want to have a wish and whatever it is, you'll have to do it~" Liam said with a happy and innocent smile. Dazai glared at him trying to guess what he planned.

"And what is that wish of yours?" asked Dazai annoyed that he couldn't guess it.

"That the thing! I can ask it anytime i want!" said the young man enthusiastically and Dazai sighed. He didn't know if it was a good idea to play along with his game but still, it was one meer wish for a life... and that why it was suspicious. Why only one? Was Liam too humble or unwilling to ask for more? No way that guy have no shame... Dazai didn't want to think too much about it.

"Alright i accept... Now lead the way" he said with determination which made the younger one smile with satisfaction.

"Do you promise?" asked teasingly Liam and Dazai glared at him.

"Yes yes i promise..." he said looking away with a disgusted expression.

"Pinky promise?~" said Liam with a smile and lifted his hand with his pinky finger up. Dazai was disgusted but he had no choice so he raised his own hand and intertwined their pinky fingers together. Liam smirked at Dazai's obedience and as promised began directing the brunet to a certain location.

Liam wasn't that heavy but after a while of walking Dazai felt exhausted, it was also due to his healf not being the best from these suicide attempts. But after an hour, they finally arrived in front of an abandoned factory.

" Are you serious ?  Is she really in there?  Dazai asked full of doubts.

"Yes she is" confirmed Liam no longer smiling, he even looked serious right now.

"Also be careful when you go inside, she's- kinda wary of strangers and might be not in the mood... We better first see the situation before asking her anything" he said with an embarrassed smile then jumped off Dazai's back and walked toward the entrence. Dazai followed him and they walked in, but the scenario in there was kinda- surprising. There were a lot of dead bodies and the walls and floor were painted blood red. Then in the middle of the room was a blond tall man shouting at someone. Liam quickly pulled Dazai to another room from which they could watch the scene without getting noticed

"You bitch, did you thought that we are gonna listen to your orders without a single word? Don't make me laugh, I won't obey to someone like you! You crazy witch!" said the man. Dazai looked at the opposite direction of the man and saw a young girl, she probably was around Liam's age, she had long slightly reddish brown hair tied in a braid and her eyes were covered with a black blindfold. She didn't seem interested in what the man was saying and just sat quietly with blood on her clothes. Being ignored made her opponent even more mad.

"Heh, nothing to say?? Anyway you lost! I don't care how you managed to kill all my mans but i wont let myself be killed by a kid! have any last words girlie?" Said the tall man with a smirk and started to walk toward her. Dazai looked at Liam but the young man did not seemed to do anything to help the young girl. Then the girl finally opened her mouth.

"Shall sink..." said the young girl, the man looked at her confused but didn't mind it and kept walking closer and closer. In an instant, a golden light flashed in front of them and something that looked like a rope sank into the man's body. He fell to his knees and coughed up blood, his whole body was shaking as he lifted his face to look at the girl with a look full of hate and pain.

"You- Take it out of me! Right now!" he shouted angrily and the girl smiled. "As you wish" she said and the rope went out of the man's body. The man fell completely to the ground, dead. Liam then walked out of the room and walked toward her.

"I've told you he would betray us... Thankfully you're in a possession of such a powerful weapon otherwise you would be dead" he said with a smile.
He then took out a handkerchief and started to wipe off the blood on her face. The girl didn't said anything but suddenly she felt Dazai's  presence and glared at him.

"Who?" she summoned her weapon again and stood up puching Liam to the side. Dazai walked calmly toward her, now that he was closer he could see that it wasnt a rope but a willow vine with extremely sharp leaves, which explained the cuts on the hand of the girl who held it.

"What an interesting ability you have, But isn't it painful to hold it? I mean it looks like it" said Dazai stopping a few meters away from her.

"Who are you?..." she asked annoyed as she tightened her grip on the willow vine forcing more cut on her hand.

"Calm down calm down... It's my friend" said Liam while standing up.

"You have friends?" asked the girl and made the willow vine disappear.

"That was mean... After all, you're my friend!"  he pouted while crossing his arms like a child.

"We are not friends..." she said turning toward him.

“What do you mean by we are not ? Of course we are! Why are you always so mean to me??! he said dramatically but she only ignored him and looked back at Dazai.

"You, what do you want?" she asked already annoyed by the man.

"Can i borrow your ability to try a new suicide technique ??" he asked with enthousiasme. The girl looked completely hopeless, she was surrounded by a bunch of idiots.

"Wait i just remembered that your ability cant harm me-... uhhh why do i have a canceling ability ???" he said desperate.

"Oh don't worry it's not an ability so if you want to die so badly I can book you a one way ticket to hell..." she said with a menacing aura.

" Really ??  It's great !  But how can a simple weapon be so powerful and even vanish into thin air?" Asked Dazai curiously. Its true that there was a lot of great technologies but this was more than that, it looked like magic... Was the man who called her a witch not lying?

"What do you want?..." she asked annoyed and avoided his question.

"All right all right i see you're not interested in little chit chat... I want you to revive someone" said Dazai full of determination and with a serious expression. The girl looked at him stunned then suddenly started laughing. Dazai looked at her annoyed but didn't say anything.

"Tell me, why would i fulfill your request?" she asked with a smirk.
