Chapter 15 : Not a bad guy after all

"Tell me, why would i fulfill your request?" she asked with a smirk.

"Well, what do you want in exchange ?" asked Dazai and the girl sighed.

"What i want huh... No one can give it to me..." she said and walked past Dazai. The brunet wanted to stop her but Liam shook his head telling him to let her leave.

"Don't worry it meant that she'll think about it" he said with a smile.

"How do you know that ?" asked Dazai looking at him confused.

"I've known her for almost a year so I know how to understand her way of doing things" replied Liam proudly

"Oh so you've been alive since a year already... Your lucky that i didn't saw you during this time cause i would have definitely killed you again" said Dazai with a smirk.

"Yes i know, that why i didnt went to Yokohama during so long haha" he replied with an unsure smile and took a step back.

"Talking about this, why did you came here knowing that i could kill you?" asked the tall man curiously.

"Well, it's none of your business !" shouted Liam crossing his arms and looking away a little embarrassed.

"Oh no dont worry, i already know what you want" said Dazai with a smirk and Liam frozen for a moment.

"No you dont! How would you know?" said Liam trying to be confident but he himself did not believe his own words.

"The notebook, you want to take it back, don't you?"  Dazai said in a question but it sounded more like a statement. Liam looked at him surprised then quickly turned around in the opposite direction of the other man.

"I dont know what your talking about..." he   frowned still crossing his arms on his chest. That only amused Dazai and made him want to tease him even more.

"Im talking about the notebook with pictures of you and your boyfriend, you know the one where you write how much you love him~" Said Dazai and Liam's face turned red.

"Ahh!! Shut up! Shut up! Stop embarrassing me!" he yelled while hiding his face in his hands.

"What was his name again? Fuji?" asked Dazai satisfied of Liam's reaction.
But when Liam heard his lover's name his expression became darker.

"Dont say his name. Your not worthy" he said coldly turning around to send a deadly glare at Dazai. Dazai's amusement also disappeared when he saw the hidden pain in Liam's eyes.

"Didn't you… ask her to revive him too?"  Dazai asked confused.  Liam looked away as he bit his bottom lip until it bled.

"Your funny, of course i did... But to revive someone this person need to still have a soul... Fuji was unlucky and died by your hands... You completely crushed his soul, nothing was left of him. Now, no matter if it's in this life or another, i will never see him again..." he said coldly in a trembling voice. Dazai did not know what to say.

"Why are you helping me?" he asked after a moment and Liam looked at him surprised.

"Why? Isn't that obvious? Thanks to that i can ask you to do anything i want and you will have to obey" said the younger one with a happy smile on his face. He seemed confident in what he was saying but that look couldn't fool someone like Dazai. Actually Dazai knew that Liam still didn't know what to ask him and that he didn't decide to help him for a stupid wish, he was helping him because of something else, something that he would never admit to him. Liam wanted to help him because he didn't want the same thing to happen to Dazai and Chuuya that happened to him and Fuji.
