May took a deep inhale as she took slow steps through the corridor. Her gun was pointed up at eye point, ready to fire if anything caught her eye.
"There's really no need for that..." Someone whispered from behind her. She rolled her eyes and groaned slightly at the man behind her. "I'm just saying the guns a little hostile."
"Coulson it's not for her if for if anyone else is with her..." May murmured. She tried keeping her voice low and quiet so no one could hear. "Plus it's not like I could hurt her anyways."
"She gets that from you." Coulson reminded her. "I admire your teaching methods but sometimes I feel you trained her a little too well." May stopped and half turned to face him.
"Oh I'm sorry next time I'll train them less... hook them up for failure and get themselves killed in the field." Coulson swallowed and nodded his head a little.
"Fair point."
"Thank you."
May turned back to face the front. Her heals were the only things making noise in the silence which made their situation if possible even creepier.
"You think she's even here?" May asked as she peaked around the corner.
"She has to be..." Coulson muttered. He made sure to follow closely behind May. "Daisys smart but we now her ways better than most." May shook her head slightly with disapproval but decided to keep moving.
Both Coulson and May had been on the hunt for daisy for what felt like their whole lives. Truth be told it has only been six months. Six months of nothing but looking and searching.
It all started when one night May had gone into Daisys room to check in on her only to find her gone. At first May had thought that she finally got out of her room to get some fresh air. But she couldn't have been more wrong.
It didn't take long for May to notice that all of Daisys things were gone. The only things left was her phone and a picture that had been smashed on the floor. May had immediately ran to Coulsons office to tell him.
So that's how they got into this position. That's why they're now in an abandoned building with no back up and little to no tactical gear. Needless to say they were screwed.
"I think we should turn back..." May spoke into the silence. "I feel like we've just been walking circles..."
"Not yet... not till we've searched every inch of this place." May sighed deeply and then stopped walking. Coulson must've not noticed cause he sure enough ran right into her. "What the- May?"
"We have to stop." May told him while turning over her shoulder to look at him. "Maybe we should just leave her alone..."
"What? No! We're too close to give up on her now!" May placed her gun in her holster. "May come on... it's Daisy."
"I know... trust me I don't like this either. But coming from a person who's been where she is, it's probably best if we left her alone..." Coulson shook his head slightly.
"Daisys not you... she's not strong enough to do this on her own..." May cocked an eyebrow.
"You think I am?" She questioned a little harshly. Coulson just stared, not able to answer. "Coulson Im not as strong as you think I am..."
"Then you should get why we need to get her! She needs us!" Coulson tried moving past her but May placed her hand up to his chest to stop him. He backed away slightly, his eyebrows furrowed.
