"Bong?"

As soon as Sara saw him, bigla siyang napatayo at napayakap kay Bong.

She was too emotional. Dala na din siguro ng lungkot niya dahil mag isa lang siya sa malaking mansion.

It took her a few seconds to realize na hindi pala normal ang ginawa niya kasi nag they're just friends.

When she remembered that, agad niyang binitawan si Bong then spoke

"I'm sorry... nadala lang ng lungkot.. pano ka pala nakapasok?" She asked shyly.

"I know the ins and outs of this place Sara. I have my ways" he said as he winked at her.

"Tama na yan, wag ka na malungkot.. kain na tayo I brought our favorite" Bong said with a smile.

Sara looked at him as he placed the plates on the center table. She was amazed by how simple and caring he was.

Di mo akalaing presidente ng Pilipinas.

And for some reason, Bong's presence felt reassuring to her.

It was like it took her back to the time na sila pa.

But this time, it was more subtle and sweeter.

As she stared at him while he was preparing the food, she couldn't help but think.

"Is it really true that love is sweeter the second time around?"

She said while her eyes were following his every move.

To be honest, malapit na din siyang maiyak.

When Bong noticed her staring, he quickly spoke

"Sar, lika na kain ka na muna.. You look tired." Aya ni Bong sa kanya.

She felt so emotional na hindi na niya mapigilan ang mapa tanong.

"Bong... why are you here?" she asked with a sad tone.

He looked at her then answered

"Don't worry.. I'm not here para guluhin ka..I'm here as a friend and an ex love. Alam ko naman na masaya kana kay Senator and whatever I feel for you right now, akin nalang yun. Just let me be your friend please"

Bong said with full of sincerity.

Sara was deeply touched by what he said

She wanted to tell him to stop but her heart didn't want to.

The truth was, she wanted Bong to be there kahit as a friend lang.

For her, si Bong pa din talaga.. Yes there are times na kinikilig siya kay Bin but no matter how sweet and kind he was to her, Si Bong padin talaga ang gusto ng puso niya

And the only thing that was stopping her from loving him again was Liza.

Kaya kahit mejo masakit, she thought na mas ok ng ganito nalang ang setup nila.

"Thanks for coming Bong.. sige let's eat na" she said with a smile.

When they were eating, no one said a word.

Masarap naman ang kare kare but they had so many memories of that dish together na ayaw nilang pag usapan.

So after eating, they immediately cleaned up without saying anything.

Nung natapos na, Sara started to say goodbye.

"Thank you ulit Bong.. I'm okay na.. you can go home" she said while letting out a fake smile.

She honestly thought that Bong would go but to her surprise, he quickly answered

"Sino bang nag sabing aalis ako? I want to accompany you until makatulog ka.. Alam ko kasi na mejo matatakutin ka. But I promise, I'll leave when you're asleep. Para di na din ako maabutan ng staff mo"

he said with the sincerest tone.

When she heard him, Sara felt more emotional.

There she was again, falling head over heels in love with her Ex-flame.

Pero kahit ramdam na niyang bumabalik ang feelings niya kay Bong, she still tried to be casual. So she responded

"Salamat Bong..Sige let's watch movies nalang! Sakto may popcorn dito i microwave ko lang" she said

"Sure" Bong quicky agreed.

When they got back to the living room,

Bong and Sara decided to sit on the floor.

Mas gusto nila ng ganun para mas malapit sa table na may popcorn at the same time masandal nila ang likod nila sa sofa.

Then they started to watch something scary.

At dahil matatakutin nga itong si Sara, she quickly requested to change the movie.

"Bong wag na yan.. hanap tayo ng iba please" she said na parang naglalambing

"Ok so anong gusto mo?" He asked while scrolling through the movies.

"Yan! Yan! I wanna watch that!" She said and told Bong to select the movie

"The Notebook"

Everything went well at first tawa sila ng tawa sa kulitan scenes ng actors until nagsimula ng maging seryoso ang scenes

then the narrator started to say the lines:

""She had come back into his life like a sudden flame, blazing and streaming into his heart. Noah stayed up all night contemplating the certain agony he knew would be his if he were to lose her twice."

Dun pa lang naiiyak na si Sara pero she did her best to compose herself.

Bong was playing it cool but he felt the emotion too.

Sara started to think na wrong move pala ang pinili niyang movie mapanakit.

She tried so hard to focus on the movie when another line came up

"So it's not gonna be easy, it's gonna be really hard. And we're gonna have to work at this everyday, but I wanna do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever. You and me. Everyday."

When Sara heard that line, she lost it..

Tears started falling from her eyes.

Bong also felt what Sara felt, but he didn't wanna upset her more so he joked.

"Naku delikado na yan.. Bukod sa matatakutin, napaka iyakin pa sa mga palabas.. cheer up will you?"

He said in a nang aasar tone.

Instead na makipag bardagulan, Sara looked at him and said.

"Bakit? Mapanakit naman talaga ang movie na yan ah! Patayin mo na nga!" She said while sobbing. Yung iyak na masinok sinok na talaga.

Tawang tawa naman si Bong sakanya.

"No later na.. patapos na oh tsaka mo pa papatayin.. let's finish this ok?"

Di na sumagot si Sara.

Mejo mahaba din kasi ang palabas.

So while Bong was watching, napansin niya na mejo inaatok na ang friend niya.

Dahil na din siguro sa pagod at kakaiyak sa movie, napapapikit na talaga siya.

Bong then asked her to move to the couch

"Sar lipat ka na dito, I'll continue to sit on the floor"

Without saying a word, lumipat din naman agad si Sara.

It only took a few minutes before she completely fell asleep.

When Bong noticed na tahimik na si Sara, he turned in her direction and watched her closely.

He stared at his Love as she was peacefully sleeping. Mejo natawa nga siya ng konti when he saw her nose na namumula na sa kakaiyak.

"Napaka iyakin mo talaga Love..." He said as he grabbed the blanket to cover her.

At siguro dala na din ng emotion niya, he couldn't help but gently stroke her hair as he said the words

"I miss you so much love.. Can't wait till Liza signs the papers then we can finally be together"
