After the hug, Bong invited Sara to the dining area.
"Come here Sara.. let's catch up while eating lunch" Bong said with a smile.
Sara quickly obliged at sumunod na din siya kay Bong.
For some reason kasi, sobrang gaan na ng loob nila sa isa't isa it's as if they pressed some kind of reset button that brought their state of mind back to when they first met.
When they got to the dining table, they sat in front of each other before they resumed their chitchat.
"Tamang tama gutom na ko sir galing pa ko Davao e" she said while giggling
"Ah ganun ba? Buti napadalaw ka sa Manila" he said
"Ay actually next week pa sana ako pupunta.. may nag invite lang."
"Wow ang lakas naman pala ng nag invite sayo, after 1 year napapapunta ka talaga ng city. Kumusta na pala siya? " He asked casually, yung tipong nangangamusta lang talaga no hard feelings.
"Ayun ok naman.. We'll go to his mom's house after ko dito" Sara answered with an awkward smile.
Kahit mukhang pareho naman na silang naka move on, Sara wanted to make sure that the past to stays behind them lalo na't madalas na silang magkakatrabaho starting next week.
Pero dahil tinanong ni Bong kung kumusta na si Robin, as a courtesy nagtanong na din siya.
"Si ma'am Liza kumusta?" She asked while looking at him na parang no awkwardness.
"Ayun busy.. she went back to teaching.. si Sandro naman nasa Ilocos and I think he's planning to get married soon" Bong said with a smile.
"That's good to hear! Grabe no? A lot has happened in 1 year. Kahit itong palace di ko na masyado maalala itsura" Sara said while giggling.
"That's true... Oh the food is here". Bong said as the servers placed the food on the table.
When Sara looked at it, na weirduhan siya..actually di niya alam kung anong luto yun ang sosyal kasi.
They were given separate plates ni Bong na may food na. Parang fine dining style.
Dahil nga she's not used to it, she grabbed the fork and tried to closely examine what the food was.
Nung di niya talaga ma figure out, she asked Bong.
"Sir ano ba to? Ang sosyal naman! Pero ang weird ng itsura" she said while naka kunot noo.
When Bong heard her, bigla siyang natawa then he spoke.
"Di ka pa din pala nagbabago..Nakakatawa ka pa din.. that's a steelhead trout roe dish" Bong answered while tawang tawa pa din sa expression ni Sara.
When Sara heard the name of the dish she quickly commented
"Roe? As in fish eggs?" She exclaimed sounding surprised and disgusted at the same time.
Di kasi siya kumakain ng ganun.
"Yes exactly.. that's masarap naman" Bong said with a gentle voice trying to convince her to eat it
Dahil ayaw niya talaga at diring diri siya.. she unconsciously answered him
"Mahal namaaaan! Ayoko to wala bang pritong isda jan? "
As soon as she realized what she just said, her eyes widened and her faced turned red.
She panicked at bigla siyang nag isip ng palusot. Before quickly saying
"I mean look ang mahal naman nito. Di sanay ang taste buds ko sa ganyan" bawi niya as she cleared her throat.
Bong clearly heard what she said the first time, In his mind mejo natawa siya pero he quickly brushed off the thought of it and answered Sara.
"Ok sige papakuha ako ng ibang putahe para sayo.. may fish fillet naman ata dun" he said while smiling.
Sinadya nya talaga na dedmahin ang narinig niya para di sila maging awkward sa isa't isa.
When Sara noticed na mukhang di naman na gets ni Bong yung unang nasabi niya she felt relieved.
"Yes sir please. Fish fillet nalang.. I'm so hungry na kasi" Sara said while rubbing her tummy.
After a few minutes, Sara got her food so they started eating while talking about work.
Nung tapos na silang kumain, the server approached them then asked
" Ma'am, Sir, anong dessert po ang ilalabas namin? We have creme brulee, dream cake.. "
magbibigay pa sana ang server ng madaming options pero dahil walang gusto si Sara sa mga dessert na inoffer nito so far, she quickly interrupted.
"Miss pwede ice cream nalang? Yun kasi favorite ko" She requested like a child.
She was innocently craving for ice cream dahil sobrang init sa araw na yun
Nagulat naman si ateng server at na cute an kay VP so she quickly replied
"Ang simple mo talaga ma'am ice cream lang pala magpapasaya sayo" she said while giggling
When Bong and Sara heard Ate's remarks, biglang nanlaki mata nila at parang biglang may nag flashback in their memory.
