A year ago after the elections

"Ano ba naman yan hon!! Ano bang problema mo ba't araw araw kang umiinom??" Liza asked Bong

Simula kasi nung final stretch ng campaign hanggang matapos ang election Bong was drinking everyday.

Halos di na nga nito maasikaso yung pagpili ng cabinet members niya.

Liza was standing in front of him yelling with her hands on her waist.

"Hey!!! Answer me!! What the hell is wrong with you?" Liza said na galit na galit.

At dahil mejo lasing na din si Bong, he couldn't control his emotions anymore.

He looked at Liza with a blank expression and said

"I want a divorce."

When she heard what he said, halos di siya makapaniwala so she quickly reacted.

"Whaaaat? What divorce? What the hell are you talking about?" Liza said with a concerned voice.

Which Bong quickly answered

"Yes you heard me Liza. I want a divorce" he repeated in a cold tone.

When Liza realized that he was serious., Bigla siyang nagwala. She grabbed the glass of whiskey from Bong's hand and threw it on the floor before saying

"Why???? Is it because of your mistress?? Tell me is it true that you're having an affair?? Is it true huh?????" Liza asked na galit na galit as she pushed Bong to answer.

Bong didn't respond.

He just looked at Liza.

"Answer me!!!! Say it!! Admit it!!!" She said as she was still pushing Bong's chest.

"Liza stop it." He simply replied

"No!!! You stop it! Stop seeing your mistress!! Stop wasting your time with your bitch!!!!"

When Bong heard what Liza said, his expression changed to anger. He didn't like what Liza called Sara so as soon as he heard her, he grabbed her arm, looked at her straight in the eyes and said

"You don't get to call my Love a bitch! And she's not my mistress! She's the love of my life!! Remember that!" Bong said as he let go of Liza's hand and turned around.

Liza's eyes widened. Hindi siya papayag na tatalikuran nalang siya ni Bong ng ganun after admitting his affair

She quickly ran towards him and pulled his arm to face her.

"Love of your life??? Ang kapal ng mukha mo! You told me the same when you married me tapos ganun ganun na lang???? You are such a liar!" Liza yelled in his face.

Bong didn't want to respond anymore but Liza spoke again.

"Kung sino man yang malanding pokpok na umaaligid sayo, I'll make sure to make her life miserable! If I need to pay someone to kill that bitch I'll do it"

When Bong heard what Liza said, di na siya nakapagpigil.

He removed his arm sa pagkakahawak ni Liza then spoke

"I never said you were the love of my life. I said you were the girl of my dreams.. magkaiba yun. You were the ideal girl.. and don't ever threaten my Love again or else.."

"Or else what huh?"

"Or else I'll fight you.. connections vs connections. Clan against clan! Did you honestly think I forgot what you did to me? You asked your family to force me to marry you, and at the time I only agreed because I knew na yun ang ikakatahimik ng mga pamilya natin and I honestly thought that the love I had for you was enough.

Not until I experienced the real one.

All my life Liza, I thought of others before myself..

But now it's about time that I think of me.. naiintindihan mo ba? I am in love with someone else and I want to marry her. "

Bong said as he quickly walked away from Liza.

Liza was left standing there stunned.

Yes It was true, she was the one who initiated the marriage but after they had Alex she thought that Bong already opened his heart to her.

She honestly didn't know what to do. Knowing Bong, he rarely say anything bad. But the Bong she spoke to a few seconds ago was different.

The next day

Bong called his lawyers in the US.

Doon kasi sila kinasal ni Liza so doon din dapat i file ang divorce.

After he got off the phone, saktong pumasok si Liza.

He planned to ignore her but she spoke

"Ok I'll sign the papers. In one condition, please give yourself time to think about it. A month or two will do.. Once your decision is final, hand me the papers and I'll sign it." She said with sadness in her voice.

When Bong heard Liza, he quickly got up from his chair, grabbed his keys then left.

He was going to follow Sara in Davao and beg for her forgiveness.

As he rode the plane, his heart was full of hope as he said to himself

"I can't wait to tell you the good news love... Finally I can be with you"

And as soon as he got off the plane, he immediately made his way to Sara's office.

He parked his car and was about to get off it when he saw Sara outside her office building.

She was just standing there.

Mejo napangiti si Bong.

But his expression quickly changed when he saw someone approach Sara holding a bouquet of roses.

He looked closely as the guy handed the roses to Sara.

Then his heart dropped when he saw the next scene.

By this time he already recognized who it was.

It was Robin..

Bong watched him as he got down on his knees and held Sara's hand.

He was holding something that looked like a ring.

Bong was holding back his tears as he continued to watch.

Tears started falling from his eyes when he saw that Sara accepted the ring as she smiled ear to ear and hugged Robin.

Bong just said to himself.

"Love.. why didn't you wait for me? I promised you I'll make things right.. bakit ganun mo nalang ako kabilis pinalitan?"

He said.

At dahil hindi na niya kaya ang sakit, he slowly drove away and left Davao.

Robin and Sara's POV

"Bin ang tagal mo! Bilisan mo nga!" Sara said as she saw Robin approaching with a boquet.

"Ito na po.. ang sungit naman binibilhan na nga ng bulklak galit pa." Robin said while laughing.

"Pano kasi ang tagal!!May gagawin pa ko!" She exclaimed

When Robin heard her, he got down to his knees, held her hand and gave her a round hoop that looked like a ring.

He placed it on Sara's fingers then said

"Oh ayan na.. peace offering wag ka na magalit" he said

Sara looked at her finger and saw the hoop so bigla siyang natawa.

"San mo nakuha to?" She asked

"Ah wala.. sa candy na binigay ng tindera wala kasi silang barya nung bumili ako ng bulaklak" Robin said while tawang tawa..

"Ah aba ayos ah! Sige na Bin, I have to go salamat sa flowers" she said as she hugged Robin goodbye.
