(Y/n)'s POV
"Why the hell would you do that! You just killed her!" Another surge of fire got sent my way, but I jumped out of the way and landed safely. I smiled, "Shoto, is it?" I asked, making my way toward him.

"What?" Todoroki asked, his teeth grinding in anger because of what I had done. "Your hero name? It's Shoto, right?" I asked, kneeling in front of him. I could see the poison transparently traveling up through his veins.

"That's a bit lame, although, I don't blame you for not choosing a real hero name. After all, it's always been your father's dream for you to become one, not yours." I looked down at the knife that was still in his stomach.

"Let me put you out of your misery," I said, reaching for the knife's handle. Todoroki grabbed my wrist and tightened his grip around it. He pulled me close to his face and glared into my eyes.

"Yaku, you don't have to do this. You can come live with us in the dorms. You can attend UA Highschool," Todoroki's voice was stern. He was serious about what he said, but that doesn't mean I would join those so-called "heroes."

"It's too late to turn back to the good side. You've heard my story. I am never going back to that green-haired loser," I said, clenching my fists.

"I understand that you were badly hurt. Your dreams were crushed—"

"Being a hero wasn't my dream," I said, shaking my head. "Then....what is it?" Todoroki asked with a shocked look in his eyes. I sighed and looked up at the night sky. I never realized how pretty the stars were until now.

"I just wanted to stay by Izuku's side. I wanted to become an inventor and help him achieve his dream." I smiled, remembering the time when Izuku gave me a hero analysis notebook for my tenth birthday.

"I still don't understand why— why did you become a villain then?"

I gritted my teeth together as my nails left an indent in my palms from clenching them so hard. "Because of Izuku's stupid quirk! He got his quirk before me! He started keeping secrets from me, lying to me! He would run off and leave ME to do take care of our mother and our home!" My veins were popping at this point, but I didn't care.

"You know the old saying: Everyone has a dream and they are willing to sacrifice everything for it. That includes family."

"I know how you feel," Todoroki said, putting a hand on my shoulder. "Excuse me?" I snapped. He didn't respond and also began to look at the stars. "My older brother wanted to prove to my father that he could control his quirk. That he could become a hero like him. My brother ran off to the woods to practice his quirk, but his flames were too hot for him, and...."

"Do you know what happened to him?" I asked. "No, I don't. Everyone believes that he died, but I don't. I know that he's still alive."

'Wasn't Dabi born with white hair? How the hell did his quirk burn his hair?' I was lost in thought at this point. I'm honestly shocked that we were fighting a few minutes ago.

"Midoriya," Todoroki called. I winced at the sound of my last name. No one has called me that in a long time. "Please, come with us." Todoroki offered me his hand. I stared at him in shock. All I could think about was All For One having my head if I said yes.

"I'm sorry, but I can't." I hid my frown with a smirk and leaned in to whisper in his ear. "Say hello to Uravity for me," I laughed and activated my quirk, pushing Todoroki off the tower floor.

Shoto's POV
My eyes widened as I got pushed off the edge of the tower. 'I almost had her. I'm sorry, Midoriya. I'm sorry that I couldn't convince your sister.' I closed my eyes as I got closer to the ground.

I felt the poison spreading as blood was dripping from my wound. I then felt someone grab my hand. I opened my eyes to see Uraraka covered using her quirk, she was floating us back to the top.

"Uraraka, you're okay," I sighed in relief. "Don't worry, Todoroki. I got you," she said, smiling at me. I smiled back, but then remembered something. "Uraraka, how many of our friends were up there?"

"Just Kyoka, Yaoyorozu, Kaminari, and Mineta. Why?" My eyes widened. "Where's Bakugo and Kirishima?" I asked, my breath hitched. "Deku said they were on their way up."

"We need to hurry. I have a bad feeling. We can't let Bakugo run into her, it's too dangerous."
