We ran across the top floor, running the maze even faster. We ran into a dead end which wasn't covered in walls on each side it was if you fell off, you hit the bottom floor, and for the first time, I didn't know what to do. "Quick, Tommy, think! What should we do?! I'm following you now," I thought.

He turned around and jumped onto the next row of ivy. I didn't complain. I quickly jumped on. The Griever jumped onto it to, but due to it's long legs, it got tangled in the ivy, making us fall with it.

I landed hard on my arm. It was broken but it did hurt. "Come on," Thomas said, grabbing my good arm. The Griever got tangled in the ivy so I just ran. "OK, this way!" I showed Thomas.

"Comeoncomeoncomeon," I said quickly. I heard the maze grinding.

"It's changing!" I said.

We ran to a sector and realized something. "Wait," I said. "Do you think that if we do this correctly, we could kill it?" I asked. "Yeah," Thomas shook his head. "OK, can you lure it? I'll get my bow ready and I can weaken it with my arrow," I yelled, grabbing my bow from my back.

I ran some way to the end, but not fully. I pulled my arrow from the quiver, locked in the arrow, but didn't pull. "Don't shoot me!" Thomas yelled at me. "I can't seem to miss my targets," I said. The Griever came charging at us.

"OK, Tom, run to me, right... Now!!" I screamed. Thomas began running at me while the sector got slimmer and slimmer and I began shooting it's head with arrows and it did weaken.

I looked at the wall. It was going quicker than I thought. "Quicker, Thomas!!" I yelled. Thomas picked up his pace. I just needed the Griever to tumble to the floor, then it would get crushed.

I aimed at it's eye, precisely and fired when it was necessary. "Hurry!" I yelled at Thomas. He was very near me now. "And jump.." I got ready to fire, "now!" I yelled, firing my arrow where it landed where I wanted it to.

I smiled. "We did it," I yelled. "WE killed the first Griever!" I said. Then I realized the pain in my leg. It was so harsh I fell to the ground. I held my left leg. "I swear, if my shucking leg pulls a shucking Newt on me, I'll," I went in. I remembered about Newt and stopped about immediantly.

"Where's your bag? Does it have any supplies?" Thomas asked her. "Yes, but my bags with Alby," I explained. He used his knife Alby gave him and chopped off some Ivy and grabbed one of my arrows and asked me to sit. He placed the arrow on my leg along the bone and tied it with the ivy.

"You're a good friend, Tommy. Thank you," I said, grabbing his shoulder to help me up. "Come on, let's go get Alby," I said, putting my arm around Thomas's for support.
