The Fall had come and soon with It the winter came, the snow had fallen for days In Liyue and all over Teyvant covering It in fluffy white snow. Though the goings on in Liyue harbor continued but with changes as it was colder so not many ships ventured out to the water unless there was very Important merchants coming to trade or sell, It had been a Millenia since your last winter time but It was just as you remembered It to be or maybe you loved the cold because you were the Cryo Yaksha. But that remained up for debate between you and your friends 

speaking of which you and your husband Xiao were sharing a meal at the Inn, alongside Aether and Paimon who'd come to visit as well as have some fun In the snow as you suggested. at the table, Verr Goldet had just brought some more slices of thinly sliced meat and vegetables as Paimon was helping herself to more of the hot pot

"Paimon, leave some for the rest of us" said Aether 

Paimon couldn't talk as she was stuffing her face, all the while you giggled at the exchange before exchanging a tender look with Xiao as he was eating his Almond Tofu 

"Dearest, don't you want to try some? it really warms the stomach" 

Xiao smiled gently, "I'm alright, you enjoy my Qingxin" 

you smiled but then swirled the meat around In the pot, cooking it before you took It out to blow on it as you then dipped It into the sauce. then offering It to Xiao much to his insistance 

but Xiao couldn't deny you, he let out a sigh as he leaned forward as you fed It to him as he then let out a satisfied hum as he chewed which made you giggle, "do you like it?"

he nodded, "It does warm the stomach...maybe I'll have a little bit more"

you smiled as you then got his little bowl, putting some more meat and some noodles into It as he then enjoyed it with a subtle smile coming to his face "It's delicious"

you giggled and kissed his cheek before you continued eating, and afterwards you all went outside to enjoy the snow as you had some fun playing with Paimon In the snow 

"Take this!"

she threw a snowball at you, and you'd gotten hit in the face which made Xiao start to jump up but you gave him a look that reassured you were fine, just as she hit Aether 

"Paimon!"

Aether then picked up some snow and threw it at the fairy which made her fall, you giggled as you then picked up a snowball to toss at Aether in which he threw back double the amount. Xiao never partook In things like this as in the past he remembered how you'd have snowball fights with the others, he used to think it childish nonsense but now it was still a bit childish 

"Paimon's going to get you!"

she tossed snowball after snow ball as she chased you and Aether around, all the while Xiao looked on fondly happy that you were enjoying yourself just as you had an Idea 

you hid from Paimon's onslaught as you then picked up some snow, before tossing It at Xiao which made him break his composure as he looked around

"Who threw that at me" he asked

his eyes narrowed at Paimon who quickly said It wasn't her, just as he saw you laughing as you hid In which made him pout a little but then a smirk came to his face 

"Very well, just this once for you my love" 

he picked up some snow and balled it up before throwing In your direction, in which you were shocked as you were spotted so you giggled all the while you tried to run away as he chased you 

you laughed aloud "Alatus no! I'm sorry I won't do It again!"

he chuckled, "It's far Too late!"

you kept trying to dodge him but eventually got hit, and afterwards he brushed the snow from you as he then gave you an apology kiss on the forehead "did I hurt you?"

you shook your head with a smile, "No not at all, I promise"

you then cupped his cheek's as they were rosy from the cold, you caressed his cheek to help him warm up as a smile came to his face "I'm not cold, I am fine especially since you're here"

you smiled, "Alatus..."

he then put his arm around you as he drew you close, you rested your head on his shoulder 

"The snow's so beautiful"

"Yes, but It pales In comparison to you my Qingxin"

you giggled again, but then shivered which made him rub your shoulders some more

"It's getting colder, we should go back inside" said Xiao

you nodded, "mhm, Traveler...Paimon thank you so much for the fun today"

Aether smiled, "Of course, It seems it's gonna snow again so Paimon and I will hurry back"

"be careful as you go"

Paimon and Aether waved to you as they left, before you and Xiao headed back inside to warm yourselves up but you were now kind of soaked from the snow as It melted

"I'll go get Towels, wait right here love" 

you went into the room as you then combed through your hair, all the while you waited for Xiao to return with the towels In which Verr Goldet had just finishing drying by the fire

upon coming back he saw you had taken off your wet clothes, now wrapped In the blanket as you sat on the bed just as you saw him come in "Oh, Welcome back"

he blushed, "I brought these,"

he walked over to the bed as he handed you one, and you used It to dry your hair before you uncovered yourself to pat dry some areas of your body as Xiao was looking elsewhere. though he honestly was trying not to give into the temptation right now as it had been a while 

"Alatus? is something wrong..."

"Nothing, It's just...your...your body"

you blushed as you then giggled, "Oh, I understand"

you finished as you then brought the blanket around yourself again, just as Xiao came to your side as he then brought his arms around you "May I...warm you up my Qingxin"

you smiled, "Of course"

he gave you a tender kiss on the forehead before your cheeks, and then finally your lips as you kissed deeply, but there was also a hunger as he continued to kiss you nearly breathless 

when you parted his cheeks were rosy again, "I am sorry but...I need you love, very badly..."

he then buried his face In your neck, leaving love marks and kisses as you held onto him

"You can have me Alatus, I'll always be yours"

Xiao removed his beaded necklace and took off his gloves, soon the rest of his clothing as he joined you within the blanket as you shared several kisses together all the while his hands roamed your body. just as it did start snowing again outside you shared the warmth and love between yourselves as he soon made love to you tenderly but also passionately.
