Chap.3 Seeing Liyue

The next day...

you turned over In bed as you felt the sun on your eye, you then opened your eyes to see Xiao over by the window, you then rubbed your eyes before you sat up, Xiao then turned 

"you're awake"

you gave a nod, "mhm"

he came over, "how do you feel?"

"I'm alright I think, but I'm still so confused"

Xiao nodded, he then brought something over for you "Here, I know we don't need to eat but It might give you some energy"

Xiao was holding a tray with a bowl and plate on It, there was a rice porridge and two pork filled white buns, you took the tray as you smelled the food, It smelled wonderful, you then placed it down on the bed as you picked up the bowl of rice porridge, you took the spoon as you tried It and it was nice with a hint of sweetness, you then continued to eat it 

as Xiao watched you, a small smile came to his lips as he remembered years ago you enjoyed human food, and It seemed that remained the same to this day, Xiao then knew you'd have many questions to ask him after last night, and he'd be glad to answer whatever you wanted 

you finished the rice porridge, you then picked up one of the steamed buns as you took a bite, but then you looked to the last one, before you held It out to Xiao 

"Here"

Xiao was taken aback, "what?"

"Are you hungry too?" you asked 

even though you lost your memories you were still caring of others, Xiao's lips curved a little he then let out a sigh as he took the steamed bun, taking a bite and it was actually good, but he much preferred Almond Tofu than other foods, you soon finished, and Xiao took the tray 

you smoothed your white hair, "Um, Xiao was It?"

he nodded "Yes"

you started, "last night, you said that I died In battle, but what was I fighting for?"

Xiao leaned against the wall, with arms crossed "You were or rather still are, A Yaksha an Adepti, we fought  to protect these lands by the order of Rex Lapis"

you listened, "I...I see and that name sounds familiar, who Is Rex Lapis"

"he was an Archon, a god of this region, he was the Geo Archon called Morax"

you nodded, "I see, and I'm a Yaksha"

Xiao nodded, "Yes and so am I, there were six of us"

you placed a hand to your head as It all registered, you then got up from the bed to go look out the window, you looked out at the terrain surrounding Wangshu Inn, you thought It was pretty 

"Come on, I'll show you around Liyue, perhaps you'll regain some of your memories"

you turn, "Alright"

you then follow Xiao out of Wangshu Inn, heading from his room to the elevator as It takes you down, you find yourself amazed at the contraption, when It came to the ground you and Xiao exited as you then followed him through the valley and trees, until you could see Liyue Harbor coming into sight, you looked at it with awe and Xiao thought It to be a little cute 

"a thousand years ago It was but a village, and now look," said Xiao

you leaned In closer as you looked, but then you started slipping down and Xiao caught your hand as he then hoisted you back up, "Be careful"

you looked to him, a blush coming to your cheeks "Sorry,"

"It's no trouble"

he then gave your hand a squeeze, a pink flush coming to his cheeks but then he led you along, and you walked for about twenty minutes until you came to the entrance of the harbor, you looked around at the many buildings, people and boats In the water 

"It's amazing..."

Xiao gave a little smile, "I suppose so, but It's too lively here for me"

you continued along as you followed Xiao, just as he realized he was still holding your hand, he didn't want to make you uncomfortable, so he let go but did so with reluctance, you and Xiao started heading towards Chihu rock, just as he saw two familiar figures

Paimon tapped Aether's shoulder, "Hey look!"

Aether turned as he then looked to see Xiao, and you close behind him as you walked, Aether smiled with a wave as he then went to meet you both, "Hey Xiao"

"It's you, what're you up to"

Paimon floated over, "Nothing much! who's she?"

a blush came to Xiao's cheeks, he gestured to you "This is (Y/n), the Sixth Yaksha"

Paimon gaped "What!? no way!"

Aether furrowed his brows, "Really? I thought you said she was dead"

Xiao shook his head, "I thought so too as I witnessed her death firsthand, but last night I saw a glow near Wangshu Inn, and found her a few meters away"

Aether smiled, "I get it, but It's good that she's alive right, nice to meet you I'm Aether"

he looked kind to you, you smiled "Nice to meet you too"

the boy with blonde hair held out his hand, you then held It as he shook yours, and his fairy looking companion hovered around as she looked at you, you then shook her small hand 

Paimon giggled, she then floated over to Xiao "So...this is your girlfriend huh!"

Xiao blushed, he crossed his arms looking in the opposite direction, you shuffled where you stood as you then fidgeted with a strand of your hair, 

"Aww! no need to be shy" she chimed

Xiao sighed, "Stop that, she doesn't remember me or what happened In the past"

"What do you mean?" asked Aether 

Xiao looked around, "I'll explain but first let's go somewhere else

"Okay, then let's head to Wanmin Restaurant"

Xiao turned, "That'll do, let's go"

Aether led the way as Xiao, you and Paimon followed, you didn't know these two at all but they seemed to be kind, not to mention that the fairy child was adorable,

you giggled to yourself, "Bonanus would love her"

but then you felt your head hurt, placing a hand to it "what am I saying...who's Bonanus?"

you stop walking for a second as you see someone In your mind, they have blue hair and look to be a girl, but their face is blurred, but then you come out of your thoughts and you rush to catch up with them.
