Chap.19 Legendary Lovers END

As the Winter went by for those few months, It soon gave way to the spring time as all the plants and animals came from their slumber. as always you and Xiao did your duties of protecting Liyue harbor together as you did your joint training in between, these spars weren't just for honing your skills but were also a form of Xiao's own fun as they were lover spars as well. amongst the people of Liyue he was known as the Vigilant Yaksha as well as the Conqueror of Demons but now you'd come to be known by history as you should have before, the Cryo Yaksha and Lady Conquerer of Miasma's with the both of you now being depicted together In pictures or art with you being known as the Legendary Lovers who protected Liyue together from all forms of Evil.

Today was April the seventeen which meant It was Xiao's birthday, though he'd gotten wished happy birthday In the past he just saw It as the day he was born or when his suffering began all those thousands of years ago. but you wanted to do something special for him and from now on only have this day be known for it's happiness that you'd be sharing now going forward 

you and Xiao were currently chasing away Hilichurls that had made their way too close to the city, It had been a while since you'd battled his many of them but you covered each other's backs as you fought together to drive them away, or otherwise purge them 

you dawned your mask as you swung your sword, channeling your Cryo power as you then knocked some of them back but one of them lurched forward "!!!!!"

It knocked you to the ground as It tried to claw at you rapidly, but Xiao quickly rushed over as used his polearm to knock It far away from you "Are you alright?"

you nodded, just as Xiao went ahead of you to keep fighting as he started to cleanse them all the while you used your Cryo energy to cleanse the Miasma that could poison the air 

Xiao leapt up before he struck the ground as It came up, the Hilichurls were throw backwards by the force as he went to finish them off all the while you cleansed the Miasma that was leftover 

you then with a wave of your sword got rid of it, before dispelling your sword as Xiao too finished as the Hilichurls bodies were now starting to slowly disappear. you came to his side as you looked him over for Injuries but he assured you that he was fine 

"I'm alright, don't worry"

you brushed his hair back, "Your Karmic debt?"

 "It's much better than It used to be...It's not that painful anymore, now It seems nonexistant"

he then held your hand, "What about you? have you...accumulated any"

you shook your head, "No I've been alright this whole time...maybe It's due to something about the way I came back"

just then you noticed he had an wound on his arm, Green and black flecks were coming from It as It was taking some time to heal but even so you took out a cloth to wrap It

"My Love you don't have to do that,"

you shook your head as you continued wrapping his arm, afterwards you started heading back towards the harbor all the while you hoped that everything was finally ready

Xiao looked to you, "Yes?"

you took out something, it was a sachet that you'd been holding onto for the past years from before you died It was to be a gift for Xiao but also a way to confess your love

you smiled, "It's been a thousand years since I first made this, I'll never forget It's meaning"

he kissed your hand, "Nor I"

Xiao then cupped your cheek as he kissed you, and you kissed back as he deepened the kiss before you soon broke It as you laced your hand's together

you then started pulling him along, much to his surprise "where are we going?"

you giggled, "You'll see"

you soon entered the harbor together as you kept guiding him to follow you, with you soon ending up at Xinyue Kiosk where he saw all of your friend's Aether, Paimon, Xingqiu, Xiangling and Zhongli along with others you knew such as Ganyu or Doctor Baizhu 

"This is...."

you smiled, "I had everyone help me plan this dinner for you"

Xiao was at a loss for word's and felt as if he would cry, just as a tear made it's way to his eye before trickling down his cheek as a warm smile came to his face "Thank you"

Everyone Exclaimed "Happy Birthday Xiao!"

Zhongli came over and gave him a firm touch upon his head, "Happy Birthday Alatus"

he smiled up at Zhongli, "Thank you"

he then turned to you and grasped your hand, "My Qingxin...you never cease to amaze me or win my heart all over again"

you smiled but before you could say a word he pulled you into a kiss, which made Paimon gag 

Xiangling put her hands together, "Awww!"

you and Xiao then rested your forehead's together after breaking apart, as you felt your heartbeats as one In that moment always beating together, neither one of you would part from each other ever again.
