Two weeks have passed since the party and people are just now quieting down about what had happened. I have also been avoiding Jason as much as possible while growing closer to everyone else during this time. Whenever Brandon had basketball practice, I would hide in my hot car just to keep him away. I did not want to face those demons at the moment.
During this time, Eddie and I have grown closer as well. We haven't done anything more than talk at school, both of us cautious with how it went the last time he was at my house. It showed our feelings towards one another, but that was another subject we tried pushing behind us, not trying to make it awkward between us.
"Hey, (Y/L/N)." Eddie popped out of nowhere, making me jump from my seat. A smug grin took over his face as I rolled my eyes at him. Somehow, Eddie calling me by my last name was endearing to me since he called everyone else by their last names.
"Hello, Munson." I shot back.
"So, I've been thinking." Eddie started, looking nervous.
"Eddie, are you okay?" I pushed the back of my hand on his forehead as he gave me a confused look. "It's not normal for you to think, you better be careful." I smirked as he was the one to roll his eyes this time. His dimples appeared, showing off his beautiful smile.
"Oh, hush." We both laughed before settling down to hear what he had to say. "As I was saying," Eddie gave me a look to see if he could carry on. "Maybe, if you're not busy later, of course, that maybe you would want to maybe see a movie with me later tonight?"
My heart pounded in my chest as I listened to Eddie trip over his words, repeating the word "maybe" a million times out of nervousness. He avoided eye contact, looking everywhere to find something to land his eye sight on.
"Hmm..." I hummed, pretending to think about my answer. "I don't know." I continued. Eddie's fearful eyes locked onto me, causing me to break character. "Yes, I'll go see a movie with you."
Eddie's shoulders relaxed as he let go of the breath he held in. I giggled at this and smiled up at him.
"You had me worried for a second, (Y/L/N)." His smile came back to life, brightening up the world. "How do you feel about watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre?"
"Texas Chainsaw Massacre?" I questioned in fear.
"Yeah, I mean as long as you're fine with that one. They're replaying it in theaters, so I thought it would be nice to go watch it again." Eddie was too sweet. He acted hard around everyone else, but showed me another side that I've grown to love dearly.
"I'll be a little scared, but I think I'll survive." I winked at him. Eddie stuck out his tongue before standing up straight. He started to walk away before turning back around, hands rested on the sides of his back.
"I'll pick you up around eight, okay?" Eddie pointed his finger at me, still showing he was nervous.
"I'll be waiting." I bit my lip, trying to keep my smile from hurting my face any longer. Eddie noticed and smiled before nodding and walking back to the school building. Just as he was about to walk in, the doors opened up to reveal The Hellfire Club. They seemed to be asking Eddie something before he nodded, causing screams and jumps. Eddie tried to shush them before turning back and waving. I shook my head and smiled to myself, letting my head to face my lap as I blushed.

It was 7:25pm and I was finishing up my look. I had gone with a simple look of light washed jeans and a comfy white sweater, since it was getting cooler out and the movie theater would obviously be cold. They set their temperatures up so low, it's crazy.
