(Y/N)'s POV

"Mike, stop being as asshole." Nancy complained as she threw tissue paper at him. I smiled as I looked around the living room full of my closest friends. We decided to open our presents to each other on Christmas Eve since we would all be busy with our families tomorrow. Well, not my family, but I will be stopping by a couple houses like Thanksgiving to enjoy the company of those I love.

After what happened in the Upside Down, a couple days ago, we took our time resting and trying to get back to normal. Most of us wouldn't even talk about happened, in fear that talking about it would bring Vecna back somehow. There was still a small tension that hung in the air from the emotional and mental drain those events brought. I'm hoping being around one another for the most wonderful time of year will bring up our spirits. I mean, how could anyone be so negative on a romantic holiday? It was snowing outside, we were in a warm house full of loved ones, we were laughing and smiling, and there was soft Christmas music playing in the background. Plus, Vecna was dead. We had nothing more to worry about. Our lives can go back to normal now.

"Hey, man, watch the presents." Jonathon's funny friend was here to visit and it was amazing. He brought a new, lighthearted feeling into the group. "You break it, you buy it, my friend."

"How can someone buy something you made?" Will laughed in confusion.

"I don't know, man, but it is a pretty sick gift." Argyle laughed as he high-fived Jonathon.

"What is it supposed to be?" Mike questioned.

"I call it - a weeder." Argyle nodded his head as he looked around at us. "Get it? It's a bird feeder, but-"

"Yup, they get it." Jonathon cut him off.

"Hey." My attention was taken away from the group and brought over to Eddie as I rested my head back and looked up at him. He was sitting on the couch while I sat on the floor in between his legs. He wanted me to be the one on the couch, but I refused, stubbornly, and he gave up after a while.

"Yeah?" I whispered back as he smiled at me.

"You feel alright? Do I need to fix your bandages?" Eddie whisper-yelled.

"I'm fine. Thank you." I smiled back. Eddie nodded as I looked back over to the group and rested my head on his right knee. I was so happy I got to sit on the floor because that meant Eddie ran his hands through my hair and made sure he was constantly touching me. We had always been the type where our love language was touch, but after our previous experiences, he's become more touchy. It was as if he felt like I would disappear if he let me go or wasn't close to me. It could be holding my hand, playing with my hair, making me sit next to him anywhere we went, or even simple things like our shoes touching one another. It was adorable.

"Hey, Red, this one's for you." Eddie said behind me as he threw his gift over to Max.

"You got me something?" Max looked confused as she moved the wrapped object around in her hands, examining the size and probably trying to guess what was inside.

"Yeah." Eddie sounded shy.

"Open it!" Lucas encouraged.

"I'm going, I'm going." Max laughed as she ripped open the gift and stared down at the box. Her face lit up as she looked back at Eddie.

"What is it?" Steve asked curiously.

"Um." Eddie started nervously. "I made her a mixtape of some music I think she would like. I mean, you're always listening to music, so I thought I would get you into something new. You know-"

"Eddie." Juliet said.

"Yeah?"

"You're nervous rambling again." She giggled.
