"Have a holly jolly Christmas, it's the best time of the year!" I screamed at the top of my lungs while Max and Juliet joined me from the back seat. "I don't know if there'll be snow, but have a cup of cheer."
"You all need singing lessons." Robin complained from the passenger seat. This only encouraged us to sing louder as we arrived to our destination. I pulled my car into the only empty spot and parked before turning around to look at Max and Juliet.
"Wish me luck." I smiled as I crossed my fingers.
"You'll do great." Juliet gave me a small smile.
"I hope so." I sighed.
"You're interviewing with Keith, right?" Max asked. I nodded in response. "Yeah, you'll definitely get it."
"How do you know that?" I asked curiously.
"Because you're an attractive female. Plus, you're smarter than Steve, so you'll do fine." Robin spoke up beside me. I lightly blushed from the compliment with a small laugh from her comment about Steve.
"I don't know who Keith is, but if what they say is true then I know you'll be coming out of there with a job." Juliet sounded amused. I rolled my eyes and smiled at her.
"Alright, well it shouldn't take long, so I'll come by when it's over." I told the both of them.
"Sounds good to me." Max shrugged. Juliet nodded, agreeing with her.
We all said our small goodbyes as we got out of the car and into the snowy air. Max and Juliet ran over to the arcade while Robin and I walked over to Family Video. She kept giving me small tips of advice to persuade Keith, easing my anxiety just a little bit.
Juliet's POV
"I'm going to go play Galaga. Where will you be?" Max asked. I looked around the busy building to find where I wanted to be. My eyes ended up landing on an empty spot at a game I knew I was good at.
"I'll be at Pac-Man." I smiled. Max nodded and we split up. This was usually our routine, especially when it was this busy. It gave us more time to play the games we like then meet up together afterwards to finish off the multiplayer games.
I sat on the cushioned stool and put my coin in. The sound of the machine turned on and sang as it came to life. I did a small dance in my seat, getting excited already to play the game. I always loved coming to the arcade since it was an escape from reality. (Y/N) used music and reading to get away while I used arcade games and art.
"Hey." Someone cut off my thoughts. I slightly turned my head to the side to find Blake. I felt my face get hot as I turned my attention back towards the game. I was really hoping he wouldn't be here, but I never get what I want, except for Dustin, of course.
"Hi." I plainly said, hoping he would get the hint and go away.
"What are you up to?" I could feel his eyes on me and I hated it. I was secretly crying for help in my head, begging for anyone to come walk up and save me.
"What does it look like?" I didn't mean to come off as rude, but I couldn't help it. Blake was Chelsea Carrington's boyfriend, but he was constantly hitting on me. Even when he knew I was with Dustin and knew I had no feelings for him, but he never gives up.
"Ouch, alright." He laughed. I didn't say anything after that. I ignored him and kept playing my game. "So, are you doing anything tonight?"
"Yeah." I lost the game from being distracted, so I swiveled the seat to face him. "I'm staying away from you."
"Why so harsh?" Blake was getting upset, but he kept the smirk on his face. I got off the seat, making him back up as I stood in his face.
"You have a girlfriend, I have a boyfriend. Leave me the hell alone. I've told you so many times by now." I snapped. All of a sudden, I heard the voice of an angel.
