"Is that nice?" I asked AhRin as she takes a bite of the cheesecake and she nodded her head in delight, proceeding to eat more of it and she looked at me, giving me a spoonful of the cheesecake.

My colleagues clearly have great taste in great food and I am glad that I followed it, and I have found a great dessert place to come here often and I will bring AhRin here again. "It is nice coming here on a weekday, normally it would be too crowded on the weekends."

I would usually choose to have my off days on the weekends because there are a lot of things to do on the weekends especially the nightlife and I can get wasted with my friends but resting on a weekday is not too bad now that I realized and I get to do a lot of things that I couldn't do on a weekend, cafe hopping and going to a museum with my girlfriend.

AhRin is using her leaves and she is not going to be back at work until next week so she is free today we will be out for a date and we will be doing all the things that a normal couple would and there is a long list for us to try out, it has been almost 2 months since we have been dating each other and I find AhRin comfortable to be with and she hardly complains about anything, she is always okay with whatever I say and she is not demanding at all.

It is not like I am leading the relationship all the time, we are both doing what it takes to make the relationship last, we just need time to know about each other. The best thing about our relationship is that we are the same age and we have a lot of things that we have in common and it is one of the first things that I realized when I met her for the first time.

I thought that I wouldn't date anyone because of my last relationship, Song Yuqi was the first and last person that I will ever date and when we broke up, my only thought is to focus on work and my singlehood but now I have met Ahrin, I just feel so relieved that there is still a second chance for me.

"Eat more and don't pass it to me, it is your favourite and I want you to have it," I told her and then I spotted 2 familiar faces coming into the cafe, I looked at AhRin who is only focusing on the cheesecake and I signalled her to look at them.

"This world is really small, we have met them so many times this week and now we are seeing them again," AhRin told me.

We live in the same town so I can meet Yuqi quite often because she is new here and she doesn't know many places but it is just a coincidence that we are always meeting each other at random places.

"Yuqi told me that she is planning to bring her boyfriend around for the next few days and she is bringing him to meet her female friends." I took a sip of the coffee. "I wonder if it went well for her." I looked at the both of them and it was hard to read their faces.

"Her boyfriend is committed to her, they are doing a long-distance relationship and there isn't any news that her boyfriend had cheated on her." She said to me. "I don't think that this guy is really bad but I don't know why he hasn't proposed to her."

We have been wondering about Yuqi's boyfriend for some time and, weirdly, he is not proposing to her yet they are so far from each other so it is hard enough for them to even meet, they have been together for 3 years and usually, most couples who are at that comfortable phase and they are thinking about marriage but there is no mention of marriage between the two of them.

"Maybe he is going to propose to her, he is just waiting for the right moment." She said to me. "And he probably would quit his job to be with her, or Yuqi would have to quit the job and move to Japan. One of them would have to give up on their careers to be able to get married."

Yuqi said that she is only going to be here for 2 years but if she does well, she might be able to stay here permanently.  And it would be harder for YanAn to work on his own if they actually get married, it doesn't really make a difference as compared to a long-distance relationship and they are already not living in the same country.

"Talking about marriage, do you think that we have a chance?" She asked me and I thought that I could answer it but nothing came out of my mouth.

Why am I not telling her that? It is a simple question and I am supposed to answer them without any hesitation, and I am not answering her and she is going to be annoyed and upset at my answer.

She let out a sigh. "It is just too early for the two of us to think about marriage and we started dating a few months ago, we can take it slow."

"When the time comes and I am more prepared for it, I will marry you," I told her. "Quickly finish up your cake, we still have a movie to watch or we will miss the entire movie."

Getting married to AhRin will be perfect... She is everything that I find charming in a woman and she manages to do it better but somehow the topic of marriage never crossed my mind because it is still too early to think about it, but I know that AhRin is a very nice person and I can't hurt her.
