Kim Jungwoo and Seo Soojin never looked good together, or at least in my opinion when I was studying in high school. They were classmates during their entire 3 years of high school but they have never spoken to each other and they weren't in the same after-school club either, and they were in completely different cliqués and they never really spoke to each other until I started dating Song Yuqi, the girl who was the exchange student that I met in the administration office on my first day.

I become really close friends with a bunch of those cool looking boys in my class which included Kim Jungwoo, who was an angel but serving looks of a prince at the same time, everyone in my cliqué has that kind of a vibe and we look so cool together but that didn't really matter, not all of us can study and we flunked our examinations all the time, handsome and charming guys are sometimes not good in their studies and they are a little goofier and immature than you think.

Yuqi, on the other hand, made a lot of friends who are as pretty and gorgeous like her and one of them was Seo Soojin, one of her friends that looked like she is able to hold a conversation to the entire class without stopping a second but she is an introvert and wouldn't stare at anyone in the eye to avoid as much communication as possible. And during the entire 3 years of high school, she barely spoke to anyone in my cliqué and although they were some guys that are interested in her, she never accepted their feelings when they tried to confess to her.

And Jungwoo never once had the hots for her when his other friends were crushing hard on her, he once said to me privately that she isn't his type and even though she is extremely pretty to him, he wouldn't considering dating her and he would like someone else and at that time, he was dating a girl 2 years older than him and of course, he wouldn't like any other girls because he is really committed to the girl that he is dating and wouldn't stray away from her.

I knew perfectly well that Jungwoo and Soojin will never like each other because of the reasons mentioned above and it would be an impossible pairing because no one would expect them to end up together, they have nothing in common and they have never spoken to each other once during the entire 3 years of high school.

I have even tried to calculate their love probability by typing their names in the love calculator and it concluded that there is a 37% of the romance happening and they needed to start talking to each other for that to happen but considering the situation that the both of them are in, it is entirely impossible for them to ever date each other for a few years and even get married to each other before they turn 30 years old.

And it turns out that it is not true at all and statistics doesn't mean anything at all, that 37% chance just turns into a 100% chance of the romance happening between the two of them that weren't supposed to be together in the first place. My friend Jungwoo is marrying his classmate Soojin out of nowhere and I have no idea that the two are getting married even though I had stayed in contact with him since we have graduated high school but it has been a year since we have met each other.

There is a chance of the romance happening during that one whole year that I missed out on updates of his life but there is no way that he would date Soojin and then marry her at the end of the year, it is too soon to determine whether the person is the right one for the other.

Jungwoo nodded as I met him in the waiting room, waxing his hair up so that it would look formal and neat for his own wedding. "Yeah, that happened just like you said. We met each other, dated each other for half a year and I decided to propose to her 3 months ago."

I blinked, still being unable to understand how that would work in a year. "What exactly happened? Was it a shotgun marriage or not? Did you somehow got her pregnant or not?"

He choked on his own saliva and he coughed, waving one hand at me telling me that I am spouting nonsense. It took him a while to calm down and he took a sip from the bottle of mineral water that was on the table. "It wasn't a shotgun romance between the two of us, I just love her too much that I couldn't wait to marry her as soon as possible."

"Ok..." I tilted my head in confusion, "But how the heck did you guys even started seeing each other? You guys weren't even talking to each other during high school and you two are the people that I will never pair with."

He smiled, a sign that he is really happy. "So we worked in the same company after we have graduated and we were assigned to different departments but somehow Soojin transferred to my department late last year and she was assigned to me by my boss to guide her on what she is supposed to do just because I worked in this department a little longer than her, but we still didn't really talk to each other other than work-related stuff and sometimes about highschool. That went for the next few months and then she got injured at work because of me, and I started taking care of her and I started falling in love with her and she did too. I confessed to her a few weeks later and we started dating each other, I proposed to her 3 months ago and here we are married. And during that whole time that we were dating, she didn't get pregnant and so you can't say that I married her because we had a baby on the way."

I just nodded, not really knowing what to say. It is a pairing that I have not expected and it is surprising to see them ending up as a couple and today they are getting married to each other, it is truly a love story that everyone wanted to be in. "Well, congratulations on your marriage and I hope that the two of you will stay married for a very long time. Better give birth to some adorable children before it is too late."

"Got it, thanks for coming on such short notice. I am so glad that you can make it." He offered me water from the table and I took it, drinking a tiny sip from it. "And one more thing, I forgot to tell you something important. She is here today to help Soojin, Song Yuqi is here at the wedding as one of the bridesmaids." I spit out my water in shock as I was completely caught off-guard at that comment, he timed it so perfectly that it made me cough profusely at that one comment, that my first love is back in South Korea after 7 years.
