"So what did YanAn even do to you?" I looked at him, his eyes demanding me to give him an answer. That was why he wanted to talk to me and I came over to his apartment because I needed someone to talk to and he appears to be the only one that I can talk to about this.

My friends were there earlier and none of them is going to be happy with me for a while because my boyfriend has just offended all of them and they made them feel so disappointed in him and they would want me to break up with him.

There is no need to be in a relationship if there is not a happily ever after, well most people date with the idea of marriage and they would date someone to marry them in the future. And marriage is the last part of the dating part of the relationship and this is when the relationship becomes official and on paper, it is the most important part for most people I consider marriage to be very important for me and I would want to get married to someone who loves me and cherishes me.

That was why I decided to date YanAn and I thought that he had the same idea too, that we would date each other for a couple of years and then we will marry each other and we will have a small family, that was why I even dated him for so long.

We were a few months short of 4 years and we have known each other for a while now and we are doing a long-distance relationship for the next few years, for the relationship to be official, we have to get married and I wouldn't mind getting married to him even though he is not that perfect as a human being but I love him with all of my heart.

And now I am not that sure if he even loves me or if I am just there for convenience, I honestly don't know.

"If you don't want to talk about it right now, it is fine. I will just accompany you for the whole night and I won't do anything to upset you. If you are planning to stay for the night, I have a room that you can take and you can wear AhRin's clothes, she wouldn't mind." He said to me. "If you want me to go over to your house to beat him up, I can do that as well."

"You don't have to do that," I told him and he smiled, he just makes me feel so comfortable when I am in his house. "Thank you, Lucas, for everything." And thank you for keeping my secret and not telling anyone...

I stayed in his spare bedroom which looked similar to his master bedroom except that his belongings are not in there and there is just a regular bed and cleanly washed bedsheets, it is the bare minimum that a house owner can do for their guests when they stay for the night.

I wonder how often AhRin comes over to sleep at his place, it doesn't seem that there are a lot of her belongings here except for her clothes that somehow fit me even though we don't exactly have the same body type and that is all.

He has been dating Ahrin for a while now and it feels like they are starting to get more comfortable with each other and she is coming over to his place to mark her territory, she seems like a huge present to the heartbroken Lucas who seemed to still have feelings after so many years but now I kind of feel that he had finally found the women who will treat him better than me.

And that is all I have wanted for Lucas, for him to find someone who will love him and cherish him better than I had AhRin just exceeded my expectations of a perfect girlfriend and she is girlfriend material and I wished that she had appeared in his life much earlier so that there will be a lower chance of me falling in love with Lucas and eventually being in a relationship.

It would have been good to stay friends with him from the start and I would not be in such pain when we had to break up with each other but we just are not meant to be together, and it is better than the two of them were to be loving other people.

I looked at my phone for the first time in 4 hours and I noticed that YanAn did not call me nor message me, there were a ton of messages from my friends and they are asking me to talk to him as soon as I am ready to talk to him and there is not a single message from him. It is as if nothing happened between the two of us and we did not just have a fight, or he could just be busy with his work.

He might be here on vacation but this guy still has a job and he is in a very high position in that company, he might be replying to his emails since he is away from work for so many days, there might be a lot of people who are wanting him to come back to work and he might be catching up on things for the past few days because he is here with me and he is going back in 2 days.

I chose to reply to Soojin first and she immediately video-called me as soon as she saw that I was online. "How are you feeling now?" She asked me. "I am so worried that you might have killed him already at this point but I see that you are alone. Did Lucas call you?"

So he did call Soojin but I guess that he didn't tell her much, that was why she was so eager to see me online. "Where is that jerk? I really can't believe that he hesitated, how can he be hesitating when it comes to your future? How long have you been dating him again?"

"3 years, we are going into the 4th year," I told her.

"That is a long dating period and it is perfect for couples to get married during this time frame, what exactly is wrong with you? But anyway I am with you and I am telling you to break up with him if he hesitates again."

"Surprise him on his birthday and then propose to him, he has to say yes to marrying you or you are dumping him no matter what, no exceptions." With no exceptions? I hope that he makes me proud of his decision.
