YuQi

Seo Soojin lets out a sigh as she takes a shower in the cubicle next to mine. "I feel so good after a workout, don't you think so?" She exclaimed.

"You think so? I think that I am going to die any time soon with these rigorous workouts, how can those people out there drag themselves to the gym every day without fail? I feel that I am going to break apart any sooner." I told her my true opinion of working out, it is the thing that I hated and I don't understand that there are some people in this world who think of working out as a healing thing when it is totally not the case at all.

"That is because you don't work out, the weekly shopping at the grocery store is not going to help you gain any muscle and you need to hit the gym to do that." She told me. "We should really sign the membership and be gym buddies for the next one year, you are not going anywhere for the time being right?"

"You can do that yourself, I will rather go through hourly sessions of spa and manicure sessions instead, at least I don't need to move around that much. " I told her, finishing up with the shampooing of my hair and I moved onto rinsing my hair. "You can go find Miyeon for that, she can be your gym buddy."

"Are you perhaps refusing to be my gym buddy because Lucas Hwang will be our gym instructor if we signed for the membership?" I dry coughed at SooJin's words, I can't believe how she managed to see through me when we are not in the same shower cubicles and she can't see me at all. "I see that I am right, you still can't forget about him."

"I have forgotten about him, really I had. But I am back and I would have to see him all the time, and I don't want that to happen and it is not like I can move to another neighbourhood just to avoid him." I explained to her. "And it would be extremely awkward if we do meet each other again, you saw what happened earlier. Things were incredibly awkward between the two of us and I have no idea why I stood there and not said anything, and I still managed to look normal in front of him. Do I even look normal in front of him?"

"You do look normal to some extent but you would have to make things up with Lucas Hwang at some point and become acquaintances in order to be able to socialise in our cliques, I know that it sounds crazy but you need to get closure or you will never walk away from that painful memory that you left hanging 7 years ago."

She is right, things between the two of us were never really resolved because we walked away from it and never found the courage to come back to the topic, we just avoided it as if we would die as soon as we talked about it. It has been 7 years and many things have changed for the both of us and it is the breakup that has never been revisited for a very long time and something needs to be done about it, and we need to have a talk about the breakup and come to a conclusion by the end of it.

"Fine, I will go talk to him when I am ready. I can't just leave it hanging forever and not resolve anything." I told her and I wrapped my head in a towel and wore my clothes and I came out of the cubicle looking like a completely different person.

"That's the way, Song Yuqi. I know that it is hard but I know that you can do it, besides it is not like your feelings would come back again and you would somehow fall in love with him again." SooJin came out of the cubicle as well, dressed in her casual clothes and she looked even better than me.

I shook my head. "I have a boyfriend and I would be cheating on him if I did that, it would be so inhumane of me to do that."

She nodded her head. "Right, speaking of which, when can we meet your boyfriend? It has been 3 years since you have dated him and we haven't seen him not even once, all of us have been dying to see him and the photos that you get from the videocall doesn't help at all. We need to see him in real life so that we can see the real product of how an extremely hardworking and handsome guy that you have kept him hidden from us for the past 3 years."

"He is just camera shy but he is indeed hardworking enough, his looks are just a bonus," I told her. "I will try to get him here so that we can have a meet and greet session with the rest but you have to make sure that your husband doesn't get angry at you fangirling over another man."

She giggled. "He won't, Jungwoo knows that I am going to love him unconditionally for the rest of his life but it doesn't include when he is drunk, I hate that side of him a lot."

We came out of the bathroom and we went to retrieve our belongings before leaving and Lucas Hwang was there when we are approaching the front door and Soojin went forward to him. "About the membership right, I have decided that I will sign up for it on my own." She told him.

"That's great!" And he passed a clipboard to her. "Just fill up this form and you are a member of our gym, do note that it is a lifetime membership and we treat our members very well."

He passed one to me as well but I told him that I will not join the gym because the gym really isn't my thing and I would die than to enter a gym ever again. "Oh really? It is great to work out though, it helps to keep you fit and healthy in the long run." His voice is a little more stable from earlier and that he is using his business voice, it makes him sound more mature and professional.

"Don't mind her, Yuqi is that kind of a person and she is going to be like that for the rest of her life." She passed the clipboard back to him. "And I would like to know if you are free this weekend, Jungwoo and I are having a housewarming party and it would be good if you were to come, there won't be as much alcohol but it would still be enjoyable."

He nodded without any hesitation. "I am free, I will make sure that I won't cause any trouble for you and Jungwoo. See you guys this weekend!" He waved at me even after we have left the gym and that is my chance to finally have closure with him, it is never the right time but it is best that I talk to him sooner about the breakup that happened almost 7 years ago.
