YuQi

Meeting him after a long 7 years was surprisingly easy for me to deal with, although we weren't on talking terms when we last met at the graduation ceremony 7 years ago. He still looked the same after so long, if not way better and mature looking than before but his personality hasn't really changed much, he still hung out with the boys that he hung out with back in high school and he is still being a joke to them.

I used to like his personality because it made me feel more confident about being myself but not now, I am not 17 years old anymore but a 25-year-old woman with her own career and a relationship with a guy who lives in another country. I don't like Lucas Hwang anymore, he is part of the past and he should remain in the past and not come back into my life again.

He is now playing around with his friends after the wedding ceremony is completed and the bride is spending her time staring at her groom with such loving eyes and it is as if there is only the two of them in this world and all of us here at this wedding is not important to them.

"Do you think that she is going to get pregnant as soon as she comes back from her honeymoon?" My other friend Shuhua asked me, she is also another foreigner in my class and she is from Taiwan. "I want to play with her kids and I will definitely be one of the godmothers of her children, you are included as well."

I shrugged my shoulders, I definitely don't have a way to predict the future or determine SooJin's life. "I hope so but I am sure that she is going to focus on her work first, the children don't really happen when the two of them love each other a lot."

Minnie nodded. "That's right, sometimes the children might cause their relationship to have more problems and it is not good for the group of them, not that I am badmouthing their marriage but it is her choice whether to have her children in the first year of marriage or not. But it would be good if we get to play with her children."

"I want to get married right now, I am so envious of the two of them." SoYeon groaned.

"But you are still young and you don't have a boyfriend." MiYeon reminded her of her love life, she just recently broke up with her boyfriend of one year and it is not a good breakup according to her. Everything that is related to love makes her want to cry but at the same time, she wants some love from anyone. "Today is not a good time to find any love, it is best to finish up all the food that is on your plate right now. Don't forget that our biggest motive of coming to this wedding is not because of our dear friend, it is also the food that is catered and all the wine that you can drink as well. It is free-flow by the way."

SoYeon wiped her tears away. "Right. Guys are not important to me right now, it is my own happiness that matters and I have the right on how to love myself and it is by eating all the food that I have missed out on." She grabbed her glass of wine. "Let's have a toast, ladies."

We clicked our glasses together and I took a sip of the wine while looking into a random direction when the sight of Lucas Hwang falling down onto the floor completely caught me off guard and I sipped out the wine in shock, I totally wasn't expecting that and it stained my own dress with the wine. "Oh my God!" Minnie yelled and immediately grabbed the napkins to wipe my dress but wine is a very hard thing to get rid of and my dress is officially ruined because of some person.

"Forget it, I can't do anything to undo that very mistake," I told Minnie. "This is not the only dress that I have in my closet and it is not very expensive either, it doesn't matter to me at all."

"But still, it is a very beautiful dress and luckily it is just wine, what if it is something else? You won't be able to save yourself by then and even be able to get married." She said and everyone agreed. "Good thing that it is just wine."

I nodded, thankful for Minnie's words that temporarily made me forget what Lucas Hwang did earlier. "I never knew that handsome people can get even more handsome with age, how did they even do that?" Shuhua commented when one of the guys walked past our table, changing the topic around. "Did they all drink the holy water of handsomeness or something?"

"Maybe, but though I don't understand that Lucas Hwang doesn't have a date here at the wedding and the rest of his friends have their girlfriends come with him. Do you think that he is single?" MiYeon asked with much curiosity.

"I bet that he isn't dating anyone, after all, Mark told me that he just didn't have the time to actually ask one of his dates to come with him as a plus one, but I don't think so," SoYeon asked munching on the food. "He still has feelings for you, Yuqi."

"That's ridiculous, it has been 7 years and he hasn't moved on at all? Even Yuqi has moved on and dated other people after we have graduated and now she is blessed with love from a guy who is living in Japan for the past year." Minnie asked me. "Don't you agree?"

"Right. But it doesn't concern me anymore, we have broken up so long ago and I feel nothing for him anymore. And it is not like I am going to see him very often after this, today is probably the last time that I would ever see him." I really hope so, since I am returning back to Korea for good until I have other plans in the future.
