With the sudden battle against those monsters finally over for the time being Ethan took notice of an old lady walking away as the doors that were once locked were now opened, before he did anything else Ethan did a quick run around the place he was at to see if any supplies were lying around, when there wasn't anymore as quick as he could Ethan rushed to her direction trying to get her attention.
"In life and in death, we give glory..." The old woman muttered.
"Uh, hello? You shouldn't be out here. It's not safe." Ethan told her.
But the woman seemed to either have ignored him or couldn't hear him...
"What the hell. Hey, can you hear me?" Ethan asked.
"It's you? The child's father." The old woman spoke to him finally.
"Child? Hey, wait--do you mean Rose? Is she here?" Ethan asked.
"Rose, Rose, yes! She is in great danger. Since Mother Miranda brought her to the village, we have fallen into darkness!" The old woman explained.
"What are you talking about? The monsters?" Ethan asked.
Though before he could even begin to get more information or anything at all out of the old woman the bells on the castle rang through the village which distracted Ethan for a moment and let the old woman slip by and shut the doors of where he came from.
"The castle bell heralds danger! They're coming!" The old woman says laughing.
"No, wait! Where's Rose? Who's Mother Miranda?" Ethan asked needing to know.
"The bell tolls for us all! They're coming again!" The old woman just laughs.
"Rose is here...?" Ethan muttered to himself.
There was no time to stand there and think he had to move, he had to get back to Rose and bring her back home safe...for you. Tears formed in the corner of his eyes as he remembered how you were gunned down by someone you trusted a lot and swore to get answers from Chris as to why he did that but first he needed to get Rose and get her out of this hell of a village.
He decided first to check out the home just to his left, all that training along with some of the tips you gave him during those years of training paid off as he carefully surveyed each room with caution along with keeping his guard up completely. Not much was to be found in there other than a few supplies he'd need for his time here.
Before he left the area he checked everywhere carefully but then he remembered that woman's voice over the radio and knew he had to at least try to make it there however he wasn't sure how they'd feel with an 'outsider' seeking shelter with them would be like. However, he needed to find a place to stay for the moment before he'd go off to find his way inside the castle where he suspected his daughter to be.
However, before he did decide to go to that woman's house he noticed a large gate blocking the way where he'd need two crests to unlock it.
"Guess this leads to the castle," Ethan muttered to himself.
Looks like he'd have to find them himself before he was to be able to continue forwards, well either way he'd go in. Ethan was a family man and just like he was willing to go into horror to save his wife he will do the same to save his daughter regardless of what painful events he'd have to go through soon enough.
He found the first one rather easy when he walked into the church that was there, the second and final one, however, was easy to find as well considering there was a note left behind revealing that it was Luiza's house the same place he was heading towards. Though before he left Ethan noticed the pictures of four people that seemed to be someone important due to how cared the frames were.
'Who are these people?' Ethan thought.
Shaking his head Ethan quickly went to place in the first crest and turned it around until it matched up with the carving into the gate and ran back through heading toward where Luzia's house was said to be located at, however now Ethan had a feeling that there were some of those monsters again and he walked around slowly with his gun out aim in front of him.
