Chapter 10

You groaned as you slowly woke up, the first thing you felt was how cold you were shivering you slowly got yourself to sit up and rubbed your arms to try and create some warmth but your wet clothes didn't help much for that but as you looked around it seemed like you were further into the Reservior which meant that either you were trapped here or needed to find a way out of there.

'Judging from the sight of all this I'll have to search for the way out myself...but these water levels are oddly high up...was this a village once?' You thought.

Getting to your feet you searched the place but first found a cave that was blocked off by some wood, it took you a bit of time before you managed to get all of the planks of wood off and entered the place. Using your flashlight you first shined it around before slowly making your way through only to be stopped by a gate, putting everything away you climbed over it and landed inside.

"Gosh, it smells in here..." You muttered.

Before going down the cave that had tracks on the ground you turned to the other side and created a pathway to get on the other side of this place, searching the area and killing some of the Lycans you found a boat key then remembered that there was one. But before you were gonna leave you had to check out what was on the other side of this cave but honestly, you had a feeling it wasn't something pretty at all.

Meanwhile, with Ethan, he had already explored some of Donna's house but when he went into the basement things got even more weird considering when he was about to grab the second flask the lights went out and all his weapons were gone, but what was even more strange was that there was a doll on the table of you his beloved wife.

...Along with a picture of 'your' dead body...

This wasn't something Ethan wanted to deal with but knew he had to consider the door behind him was somehow locked up and he was clearly the only one in this place so far. Knowing there had to be pieces to get him out of here he approached the table with the doll and checked the limbs for at least something to find so he could get out of here quicker, firstly he found a circle with a pattern-like stuff on it with three eyes closed not sure what that was for he placed it down on the table for now.

The next thing he found however was a silver key, that key allowed him to use it on the door that matched with it thankfully, but before he searched it further the lights flickered and oddly enough the radio off to the side went off with your voice telling him about Rose's kick. That jogged his memory when you were still pregnant with your daughter and said the exact words.

'The hell's going on here? No...focus you need to get the other flask and get out of here quickly...' Ethan thought.

The next place he checked on the doll was on one of the legs, inside one of the slots was a winding key which he wasn't sure what was gonna be for at the moment but either way, he still continued to check the door for anything else he needed before he'd go in case there was more he may or may not need. That proved to be correct when he found the bloody ring as well as seeing something stuck in the doll's mouth and something in one of the doll's eyes.

Checking around a bit more Ethan realized that was all there was so he first looked at the other area he didn't look at and realized the two things he found on the doll were useful for this door, putting in the correct ones he later used the key to the door matching the key, washed the ring in the sink that was thankfully still useful. When it was clean it so happened that this was his own wedding ring.

'Why is this here?' Ethan thought.

Inside was the wedding anniversary taking a moment he looked at the wall in front of him and then looked at the door behind him...what if...what if it was possible that the code to that door was what is inside his ring?
