Chapter 6

Ethan followed the path before him and later found himself in a kitchen, the windows were broken and the winter cold air was flowing through. Just a few feet ahead he noticed a rather large bowl with what looked like blood in it and inside was also a wine bottle, that's when Ethan remembered he could use this for the wine room.

Taking the wine bottle with him Ethan left the kitchen all he found in that area was something he could possibly sell to The Duke along with an attachment to the gun he was using and quickly placed it on before carefully looking out the door that lead him to a dining room.

Using what he learned about the three daughters Ethan broke the windows there with the knife he had, considering this could possibly be somewhere he would run off to for brief safety from those crazy daughters he had to take as much caution as he could. Unlocking the double doors leaving him back in the foyer, looking around Ethan noticed that no one was around so he quickly went back to the wine room.

Placing the wine bottle in its place the door opened up revealing a secret room, searching further in Ethan found a key remembering the heavy double doors in the dining room. When Ethan made his way back to the foyer he ran into yet another one of the three daughters avoiding her as much as he could he quickly ran into the dining room and used the key on the door.

Stepping outside Ethan was now in the courtyard of the castle as it looked, before he proceeded any further Ethan searched the courtyard for anything useful and it seemed to prove a good idea since those who were once here before him seemed like dropped some ammo which also meant to Ethan that this was more like a cat and mouse game than him successfully escaping death each time.

'It's more of a game to those sick freaks...I just have to outlive them huh?' Ethan thought.

Continuing on Ethan decided to finally head through another set of heavy doors when he noticed that he just missed Lady Dimitrescu as she quickly walked up the steps carrying a candle in her hand for some reason he didn't know but to avoid being seen just yet Ethan kept to himself by the doors he just entered through keeping his ears opened for her footsteps as they later disappeared.

As silent as he possibly could, Ethan headed up the stairs and instead of breaking the big vase that was there he looked inside it only to find a box of ammo for his handgun. That proved his theory that Lady Dimitrescu hid these things throughout her castle to get a kick out of forcing her victims to run out of ammo or whatever, either way, he kept moving.

"What have you done to my daughter?!" Lady Demitresu shouted along with glass shattering.

That startled Ethan a bit as he held in his breath then quickly sped walked to the only unlocked door and hid there for the time being in case she heard him and began to search her castle for him but even with that in mind he knew he was in danger there so he had to find a way out of this room...but the only way out was after figuring the puzzle. Great, so even this place has puzzles huh? Well then again this was a rather old castle so he guessed it had to do with that.

'Women are blind to male advances, but the poor shall take their chances to give their lord their bounty sown, so that soon the wine may flow'

Whatever that was it seemed to be a clue for this odd puzzle Ethan was forced to figure out and when he tested the statues a bit he found out that you could move them around to a certain extent. Reading the clue again Ethan took a good look at the statues and quickly figured it out and moved the right ones in the correct direction which ended up proving to be correct.

So when the blood bath began to get removed it revealed a door underneath, walking down the doors slowly began to open and Ethan followed the path down as the doors now above him slowly closed back up. What he found himself in was in like a basement type of place and the place was flooded with what looked like blood, there was so much of it that it nearly came up to Ethan's kneecaps.

The same monsters that were in the cellar were also in the basement so gunning them down quickly wasn't much of an issue only time it was when there was a swarm of them, and considering it was Ethan's second experience he was still relatively new to this 'life style' rather then what you and Chris had gone through on a daily basis.

Quickly he reloaded his gun and continued forwards, the further he went the more of those monsters he gunned down. It was until he came up to a set of stairs that he took down one last one and was finally able to get out of that bloody place though he wasn't sure where forwards took him next.

He later found that out rather quickly when he took the odd 'elevator' back up to the surface and first found himself on the balcony of the castle outside, searching for a way back inside the castle to get whatever he could to continue forward he later had to hide as Lady Dimitrescu was nearby as he looked at her through the windows of what he believed to be her chambers.

"Mother Miranda. I regret to inform you that Ethan Winters has escaped that fool, Heisenberg." Lady Dimitrescu said.

It was then that she began to reapply her lipstick.

"Because he is in my castle, and has already proven too much for my daughters to handle! When I find him--No, Mother Miranda. Yes, of course, I understand the importance of the ceremony. I won't let you down." Lady Dimitrescu said over the phone.

When she hung up the phone she sat there for a few seconds before getting frustrated and throwing her mirror off into the other side of the room in a rage.

"To hell with the ceremony! That man will pay for what he's done..." Lady Dimitrescu growls leaving the room.

Thinking it was now safe Ethan silently makes his way through the doors and into the room only to find out that Rose wasn't there and the baby bed was empty. Just where was she really? Searching the room a bit more Ethan later found the Dimitrescu key and realized that the insignia was the same on two other doors he saw in the castle. So keeping that in mind he used it for this current room and quickly pocketed it only to run into Lady Dimitrescu herself so quickly.

"Oh, shit," Ethan mutters.
"There you are. All this for a child that isn't even here!" Lady Dimitrescu spoke up.
"What the hell do--" Ethan began but was interrupted when Lady Dimitrescu grabbed him by his throat.
"You ungrateful, selfish wretch! You come into MY house--You lay your filthy man-hands on MY daughters--And now you even try to steal my property? How dare you!?" Lady Dimitrescu begins as she slammed Ethan into the ground below them multiple times.

The floor under them began to break under the force that Dimitrescu was giving and later Ethan fell through the floors as more wood broke under his fall only for him to land further down into the castle.

"Rest while you can, because I will hunt you, and I will break you!" Lady Dimitrescu shouted.
"Go ahead, do your worst!" Ethan mutters as he ran off.

Meanwhile, you were still searching the village for things to help you survive this place as well as looking for a way that means you could get in contact with Chris as he should be somewhere nearby if it means hunting down to end this mold shit once and for all.

'Why do I have a feeling it all started here?' You thought as you took shelter in another home away from the Lycans to catch your breath.
