Chapter 8

Heading out through the heavy doors Ethan found himself in a small hallway with another set of heavy doors in front of him, pushing them open he was finally back outside but nowhere really clear to run other than forward. Inside, however, it looked as if he was in some sort of church? He didn't know but when he opened the coffin that was just sitting there he noticed a dagger in the hands of a corpse that clearly was there for a heck of a long time.

Picking up the dagger Ethan inspected it for a moment but was startled when a hand covered his, Lady Dimitrescu had caught up with him and she was angry.

"You've ruined everything!" Lady Dimitrescu shouted.

She then took out her claws and stabbed Ethan through his stomach and in retaliation Ethan used the dagger, stabbing her in her side which seemed to take huge effect due to the fact that her face looked like it was about to crack completely not to mention the whites of her eyes changed to red just as quick.

Having enough of with Ethan she threw him out the window just as she began to transform or well more like mutate or whatever into something considering right about now Ethan couldn't get a good look at what was happening for the moment. Though what got him was that he was literally screwed considering he had barely anywhere to run off to get away safely...then again that damn dagger and slipped out of his hands and fell down to wherever on the castle grounds.
He wasn't about to try to find that at all...

Not long after however Lady Dimitrescu who was now an odd mutated dragon figure broke through the church walls and began laughing.

"Flesh, bones I will devour all of you!" Lady Dimitrescu laughed.

Just as she grabbed Ethan, you were shocked at the sudden sight of her and used your riffle's scope to look through and gasped in horror as you noticed it was your husband in her hands.

"Ethan!!" You shouted.
"You cannot save him right now, Mrs. Winters." An unknown voice said.
"Who the hell are you?" You asked pointing your gun at him.
"Ah, where are my manners. You can call me The Duke." The Duke introduced himself.
"How the hell do you know us?" You asked.
"Well your husband is searching for your missing daughter is he not?" The Duke asked.
"That bitch Miranda took her didn't she?" You asked.
"It would seem so." The Duke says somewhat sadly.

After a few moments of silence, The Duke then opened his shop to you letting you buy some stuff and sell the things you found, to which you bought more bullets for your rifle and did manage to get yourself a nice handgun.

"These gates are locked....do you think I could climb them?" You asked.
"I'd be extra careful if you plan to, but here use some of the closed boxes to help your trip over." The Duke replied.
"Thanks...I guess..." You mumbled.

Using the boxes like he suggested you had climbed over the gate that lead to the Reservoir still clueless to what would be revealed later on to you.

'Please be safe, Ethan.' You thought.

Meanwhile, with Ethan, he was busy fighting off Lady Dimitrescu to get out of this alive in order to get Rose back wherever she was. She was putting up a tough fight and her big form was somewhat hard to keep at it, he was losing a lot of bullets but honestly, he just hoped to bring her down before he was completely out or otherwise he'd be dead for sure.

At some point to escape her he had to run up the steps to the pillar that was now broken down on one side, it took a lot more bullets until Lady Dimitrescu was finally put down though she took him down with her all the way down into another room. Unsure how he survived Ethan instead of questioning it or even thinking about it got back up to his feet.
