Seokjin's Pov:

Never before had I experienced a feeling of betrayal on this scale as I do right now. I should have known better than to sign anything without reading it, but I assumed everything was finished and concluded once my revisions were made. I had gone against everything that I had ever believed in. I knew better than to sign something without reading it. I was unaware that this man had both the arrogance and the criminal attitude necessary to make changes without informing me.

As I read through the agreement, my head began to ache; the calendar that I had made had a strikethrough in it, making it seem as if having sexual activity once a month had never taken place. It was replaced with an entire seven-page agreement pertaining to the intimacy in our marriage, which began with the following sentence: "both parties agree that sexual intimacy is fundamental not only for their own well-being but also for maintaining intimacy and closeness in the marriage." I was in shock.

I couldn't believe it; it was fine that he wanted to modify things regarding his own previously set requirements; nevertheless, I didn't understand why this wasn't brought up in conversation with me. It made me concerned. I can't even consider what else had been written that I was not aware of.

I left the laptop on my bed since I needed to see him and speak with him. This was selfish of him! Both parties agree, my ass; where did I agree? I have no idea what his ex-husband allowed him to do in the past, but this would not work.

I shouldn't have been surprised when I arrived downstairs. He was already in his office. Instead of knocking, I just pushed the door open entirely. He couldn't inform me of changes to our agreement; I was not going to announce myself before entering his office.

He glanced up from his computer and took off his glasses; I was unaware that he wore glasses, and I didn't care about that fact at the moment.

"You hate knocking?"

"You are a complete asshole!" I had no need to remain pleasant with him when he intentionally tricked me into signing something he knew had changed.

He rose and moved towards me, saying, "This is not the first time I've heard that."

"Why would you make changes without informing me?"

"You made changes to the agreement, but you instructed me to read it independently instead of sharing them with me. I expected the same from you, Seokjin; did you not review the agreement before signing it?"

I rolled my eyes because there was no way he would pretend like this was my fault. "Don't even bother trying to brainwash me. You assured me that you would sign the agreement once two changes were made, but you did not mention that you had made further changes. I got the impression that they were the only changes you wanted to be made; it is a big disappointment that you played me in such a way, but I suppose I was expecting too much from a successful businessman such as yourself. You couldn't possibly have become a billionaire by being such a good citizen, could you?" I became angry and rushed out of his office after yelling at him. Selfish asshole!

"Seokjin-"

"Do not call my name!"

After I got back to my room, I took my time and changed into something more appealing; even though I was angry, I couldn't go outside looking homeless. I needed some time alone; I hated being deceived and had feelings of betrayal. I can't help but wonder what more was concealed that I was unaware of. Probably had more than ninety-seven billion dollars in his account, and both his phony-ass attorney and accountant lied to me about it. In the meanwhile, he is now open to all I have. Oh, he angers me to no end!

*****

"Your total comes to thirty-five thousand dollars."

I gave the cashier his black card and waited patiently for my receipt while she processed my transaction.
