"Come on. We'll all be busy with work and school tomorrow. Let's watch a movie," Paul insisted, hands on hips.

His adorable wife undid her messy bun and replied, "You mean more reason for you to snack on. Take a look at your bloating belly, Paul. You need exercise, not movies and snacks and couch."

"When the gym opens, I'll go. For the kids' sake, honey, they will all be busy with school and lots of homework from their insensitive teachers. Nothing beats assembling to enjoy and watch a movie as a family. It rejuvenates the emotional bonding of family members towards each other, and it lessens siblings' rivalry as parents can divide their attention-"

Raising her hand in the air, Jenna halted him.

"First of all, our kids are not fighting. We treat them alike."

"You must be blind then because these two are barely saying a word to each other since yesterday."

Three pairs of eyes snapped toward them. Harry straightened his back while Harper slipped the bookmark between the pages and glanced at her parents. Steve put his empty glass down.

"Wait, you two are fighting?" He asked, looking at their stunned faces.

"Of course not," Harry stated.

"What made you say that, Dad? I have no reason to fight with Harry."

"I suppose it has to do with Jenna dividing the housework. Harry even protested about you getting lesser chores."

Harry stepped forward and clarified, "I meant it as a joke, Dad. I talk to Harper. I went to her bedroom last night to get rid of a bug that had flown in. She sent me a text and made no noise about it."

Despite lying like a rug, Harper played along.

"That's true. I had forgotten to slide the window. It was crawling on the wall. I asked Harry to help me as you were both already asleep."

"Yeah, what made you assume we are not talking to each other?"

Paul scratched the back of his head.

"I must have misread the situation then. You diverted me from the topic. Jenna, please, Harry, Harper, please tell your mother that you'd like to spend time together-"

Despite not wanting to, Harper persevered, "Dad is right. On weekdays, it will be impossible to spend time together. We spent our day on online schooling, and in the afternoon, it was homework. We'll have to go to bed early since tomorrow will be the same."

Harry continued, "Come on, mom."

"It will be fun, Auntie Jenna."

Four against one, she accepted defeat and started barking orders.
