Oh hey there,

thank you very much for reading 'love thy neighbour', your votes and comments mean a lot to me. My goal here has been to write a cozy tale about teen love, friendship and family dynamics, one that you would read while snuggling in a fluffy blanket with a cup of tea or coffee, lighting a candle, creating a warm space and just relaxing.

Since I didn't write a prologue, I decided not to write an epilogue as well. I like the ending the way it is.

Now normally when I end my book, I usually get requests of adding more chapters or sequels. Often times, I've caved in. For this book however, at least at the moment, I'm not going to do it. I would really like to publish it one day and if ever I'm told to add more chapters or edit a few things, then I will do so.

I don't know what it is but I really like 'open endings' is what I normally called it. It's like I'm leaving it to the characters on how they would like to go forward. It's maybe a bit weird but anyway- that's just me.

Retelling is one of my favorites  (You may check out 'a tale of twisted love' if you like Disney Princess retellings) and I hope you enjoyed this loosely based tale on Romeo & Juliet

Retelling is one of my favorites  (You may check out 'a tale of twisted love' if you like Disney Princess retellings) and I hope you enjoyed this loosely based tale on Romeo & Juliet. I have never read the book but I have watched the 2013 movie by Douglas Booth and Hailee Steinfeld.  I liked it despite what reviews said.

Now in the play, their families are rivals. I kept this bit partly in 'love thy neighbour.'

Tybalt, who is Juliet's cousin is also Romeo's sworn rival. They absolutely hate each other and Romeo even killed him. That's why I decided to use Harry as the one family member who dislikes Steve when he approached his sister. And instead like the play where they tried to marry Juliet with another man, I decided to use Steve as the one who had someone in his past.

If you have any more question about the book, you may ask me here.

Love you.
