Chapter 7

Y/N POV:

I open the box.

There are accessories in it.

"What are those?" asks Pit in awe "You know how Lady Palutena gave us laurels?" I ask, he nods "Those are like signs of acceptance and a mutual respect." I tell him.

I pull out an bracelet with a sheaf of barley on it "Demeter gave this to me, it keeps me warm whenever I am cold." I say fondly and pass it to Pit.

I take out a sash with a trident on it "This was given to me by Poseidon. It allows me to breathe underwater. Gods give these to angels to help them do their job better." I say. "What about that one?" Asks dark pointing to the black choker with a silver charm of a three headed dog on it.

"That was given to me by Hades. It transforms me into.... well... anti me." I explain. "So if you wore that you'd be dark Y/N..?" States Pit. "Let's say dark pit put it on, He would be you but with a bit of control of his normal form." I try to explain.

"Let's put it on him!" Pit suddenly says. I laugh onboard with the Idea, Pit wrestles Dark to the ground. "GET THE FRICK OFF ME!!" Shouts dark, I quickly snap the choker shut around his neck. Me and Pit stand back.

Nothing happens.

Then suddenly his wings turn white and he looks just like pit. Dark looks at himself "EW! NO! I LOOK JUST LIKE THIS IDIOT!" He wails "sorry I shouldn't have said that." He says to Pit then slaps his hand to his mouth. "Who wouldn't want to look like me?!" Asks Pit "I have pretty good looks!" He boasts. "STOP BEING A NARCISSIST YOU PIT OF DESPAIR!" Screams Dark "Oops, I am really sorry Pit! let me give you a hug!" He then says. Dark stops himself and takes the choker off. "NEVER AM I DOING THAT AGAIN!" He shrieks.

"Ok, OK... was it really that bad being me?" Asks Pit innocently "YES!! YES IT WAS!! I HAD THE CONSTANT URGE TO DROP ICE CREAM ON THE FLOOR AND EAT IT!!!" Dark is clearly having a panic attack.

"It still works strange..." I mumble. "HUH?" Asks Pit "A charm stops working if the respect is broken." I say. "I AM SCARRED FOR LIFE!" Shrieks Dark in the background.

I get up and out of bed "who tied these bandages?!" I ask seeing them drop off my tunic. "I-I did." says Pit sheepishly. "Is anyone else hurt?" I ask Dark shoves his leg behind his other leg and Pit hides his arm.

"Really guys? Here let me help." I say walking towards them already feeling better. "I-its fine I can do it myself!" Exclaims Pit backing up into a corner "Clearly not!" I gesture to my undone wound. I walk to my table and take out my first aid kit and go to Pit. He has a really bad claw mark on his shoulder from a dog I suppose. I take out some alcohol and put it on a tissue.

"This might hurt a bit." I say and then put it on his wound he flinches and closes his eyes tightly, to comfort him I grip his hand softly with mine. "You'd think that the wound itself would hurt more than the treatment!" Remarks Dark. Once I am done I carefully wrap a bandage around his shoulder and for his good behaviour I give him a lollypop.

"Thanks Y/N!" he chirps and then starts licking his lollipop. I walk towards dark and ask him to show me his leg, It is scraped really badly. I repeat the process on him and he doesn't flinch even a bit, though he winces once. I give him two lollipops "For beings really good boy!" I say and pat his head. "Thanks....?" He smirks at Pit. Pit glares and looks at his singular lollipop.

"Ok I think Demeter's, Poseidon's, Artemis's and Athena's charms are working, which means they are on our side. Though I have no Idea why Hades's charm still works??" I wonder aloud.

"I don't know about you guys, but I am starving!" Exclaims Pit. I get up from the chair I was sitting on and follow him out Dark in front of me. Suddenly my vision starts blurring and I wobble I close my eyes for the impact but it never comes.

I open my eyes and see Pit stopping me from falling "Are you ok?" he asks pulling me up with concern in his blue eyes. "Y-yes, thank you." I say and start walking. We reach the dining room where Lady Palutena is already at. "What would you like to eat?" She asks us. This is my first time eating on the dining table as I usually just make and eat my own food in my room.

"FLOOR ICE CREAM!"

" Pit you can't have floor ice cream for lunch." Chides Lady Palutena.

"Can I have pizza please?" I politely ask her. She smiles at me "Yes you may" And starts it up. "I want pizza too!" Exclaims Pit smiling at me. "Can I have Dark Pizza?" Asks Dark, "What's that?" I ask him confused. "It's burnt Pizza." He states I wrinkle my nose in disgust.

As we eat I tell Lady Palutena about my charms and which gods are with us.

"Starting tomorrow I need you guys to go to each god that is on our side. We need to know our allies." She tells us.

Pit exaggeratedly slides off his chair and moans "This will be like a party," he says "Where everyone tries to kill me!" he pouts. "Great. Just great!" Says Dark "Oh no Pittoo, you won't be going. Who will protect me?" Asks Lady Palutena. "Wait but-" Pit looks at me "None of us can fly!" He protests Lady Palutena waves this off. "Pizza anyone?" And with that she serves it up and leaves "To tell the centurions." she explains.

"Where do we go first?" I ask them "Who will be the easiest to ask?" questions Pit in return.

"Demeter."
