Chapter 10

"Demeter we have to ask you something."

Demeter looks at me a bit surprised, I continue.

"It has come to our knowledge that Hades is back and is plotting something evil against all gods. He has already turned Ares and we suspect a few more. Once he has enough gods on his side he will stealthier powers and then he will be unstoppable." I explain to her.

Demeter flushes with rage "I told that no good nick dirty liar to stay away from my daughter and stop this madness for the sake of his own daughter!!" She growls.

Pit and I look at each other in surprise, Hades has a daughter?! "Demeter who is Hades's daughter?" I ask in curiosity.

She pauses and looks at me "You are." I flinch back in shock. No way can I be the daughter of that psycho! Plus I'm an angel!

"You're kidding right?" I say chuckling nervously, she looks at me sadly "Y/N I wouldn't lie about this to you. No one knows why you have angel wings. You are a god, the goddess of balance." she says to me understanding in her eyes.

"If I'm his daughter then why would Hades do this to me?! Why were all the gods so mean to me?! And I'm assuming Persephone was my mother, WHERE WAS SHE WHEN I NEEDED HER?!?!" I yelled not understanding everything. Pit looks at me with sad eyes, I calm down a little bit.

"I'm sorry I just need some time on my own." I say quietly and walk out the door, Pit follows me but Demeter stops him.

"Pit wait a moment, if you please!" She calls out.

With Pit:

I feel sorry for Y/N, who'd want a psycho as a father and her own mother didn't visit her. Even her own kind weren't kind to her. I start to follow her but Demeter tells me to wait.

I wonder what she wants?

I stand there waiting for her to say something.

"You like her don't you?"

My eyes widen in surprise and my cheeks heat up "Y-yeah she's m-my b-best-t f-friend." I say nervously looking away in embarrassment. Her eyes twinkle in amusement and she gives a small laugh.

"I think it's a bit more than that." She laughs "But I won't pester you longer there are more important things to discuss." she adds more seriously.

"Y/N is part of a greater destiny. Gaea told me she would 'stop the evil from coming with her own two lights and darks though she will be at an end. There is one way to save her to do this light needs to bring her to the dark.'" She quotes Gaea.

"Do you know what this means?" She asks me.

"She has the scimitar and the dagger." I say still thinking then realisation hits me. "And she has me and Dark Pit." I say. She nods her head "And what about light bringing her to dark when she will be at end?" She prompts me.

"Well the scimitar can't take her anywhere. So it must be me! And when she is at her end, the only way to save her is to go to the rewind spring, which is in the underworld!" I exclaim now understanding.

"Please save my Y/N she's like a daughter to me. And don't tell her, it will interfere." she says lowly with sadness thick in her voice.

"I promise to do everything I can to save her. She will not die." I promise her firmly. "I believe you." She smiles at me and gives me a hug. A bit surprised I hug back. "Now go. Talk to her." She smiles at me.

I nod.

Y/N POV:

I sit with tears in my eyes surprised and angry. I try my best to hold them back as usual as much as I want to let them go. I sit without the bracelet in the snow, the cold isn't as cold right now. I hear the door open and I see Pit.

I look at him steadily "I won't blame you if you think I'm a monster." I say sadly. Pit looks back at me with a dejected look on his face.

"Y/N, you could never be a monster." He says softly.

I don't know why but those words make my tears fall. For the first time in years. I look away embarrassed, Pit sits next to me and pulls me into a hug. I let the tears fall and cry into his shoulder and he rubs my back. We sit like that for I don't know how long. Once I finally stop crying I pull back.

"Thank you Pit." I smile at him.

"Anytime Y/N" He smiles back.

We go back inside and I hug Demeter "Thank you for always being there for me." I murmur into her dress "Oh,Y/N!" she smiles as she pulls back tears in her eyes.

"Lady Palutena, take us back." Says Pit into his laurel there's a glowing light before our eyes. I see Demeter waving to us through the light. I let the light engulf me.

Once the light finally stops I see myself back in Lady Palutena's temple. I run straight to my room and shut the door. I fling myself onto the bed and cover myself in pillows.

With Dark Pit:

Y/N Runs straight to her room and slams the door shut. What happened to her?! I look to Pit and Lady Palutena with a questioning look on her face.

"She just discovered she's Hades's Daughter." says Pit grimly.

"oh, ok." I say "WAIT WHAT?!?!" I scream. I never saw that coming. "Dark be understanding." Scolds Lady Palutena. "Good news, Demeter is on our side and she told me about a prophecy." He tells us. He explains the whole thing to us.

"Cool I'm part of a prophecy it's about time!" I say in excitement.

"Demeter is right Y/N holds more power than us all." Says Lady Palutena "The gods on mount Olympus probably saw her as a threat and therefore weren't kind to her." She tells us. "Thar's just stupid!" I say.

We all go to Y/N's door and knock three times. There is no answer so we open it a little bit

"Y/N?"
