Silly Exceptions

I am too close to be seen

And too far to be ignored

I am too intoxicated to be drunk

And too tipsy  to be found sober

I am full of silly exceptions

I evade the definitions I give myself

As far as the eyes can see

We are both invisible to each other

I can hear your steps as perfectly as you can hear mine

Our silence is deafening to everyone else

I can see all the shades of truth in your voice

My reality defies your illusions

I feel a dark kind of joy in your nature

The bitterness of your poetry is the sweetest thing ever

I am too salty to be sweet yet ironically addicted to Turkish delights

My mind is clearly confused about the air we are sharing

How can midnight and noon share the same time in space?

Why is the sun shining so brightly while it is pouring?

Just another series of mid-spring sleepy reflections
