Midnight Joys

I started with a walk through my midnight sorrows

Just a walk through my midnight joys

What I think of me is absolutely wrong

What I think of me is absolutely true

I am running through the garden of possibilities

In search of spontaneous healing

I am running barefoot looking to appreciate myself

The moon is slowly mirroring my mood

I am starring at the reflections of myself in the pond

Looking for parts of me to love

I left every inch of me rolling in the grass

I am grateful for the uniform color of the pitch dark sky

I accept what is eagerly flowing to me

The warm winds of a beautiful summer night

I threw all the broken pieces of me to the sky

And watched them ascend towards the limitless sky

Vibrating among the stars

Forever transmuted into healing light

Just a walk through my midnight joys
