"There really isn't anything."

Crowley had searched through thousands of books, both manually and magically. In the library's centre, an onyx marble sculpture of an open book laid and Crowley had activated it by magic and with a swirl of his golden claws, configured thousands upon thousands of pages of subjects and topics contained in the library with a green glow. He said where she lived - nothing appeared.

He checked the books not yet registered in the library, the history books, and the travel guides. Everything.

He checked the globe in the furthest corner of the library which showed the smallest of villages and towns in the utmost detail during the past, future and most impressively the present, where you could see a few people walking through the streets. And yet, nothing.

It was like [Name's] home had never existed in the first place.

"Not only the world map but the name of your home isn't written in any history. Are you truly from where you say? You aren't lying to me by chance?"

"Why would I lie where I lived!?" [Name] shouted before groaning and letting her head flop in her arms; succumbing to her defeat on the table. It was a bit pathetic really, like an empty whoopee cushion. "I'm sorry for shouting... This whole thing is stressing me out. My parents must be so worried..."

"No worries [Name] the magical procedure of teleportation leaves a letter in your absence, your parents would definitely be notified, but the problem in your circumstance is where you were teleported from..." Crowley pulled up an ancient scroll made of papyrus paper, his lips curling at a faint stench of rot that wafted from it. Nothing there as well. "Looking at all this, you may have somehow been brought here from another planet... There's also the possibility of a totally different world? The possibilities are endless when considering magic's unprecedented outcomes."

"I'm an alien!? From another world!?" [Name] yelled even louder, flopping back in her chair with a sob.

"Ack!" Only for her to cry out as the momentum rocked her chair and she nearly fell off her seat. Nearly. Crowley calmly stabilised her before so, not even tearing his eyes off the ancient scroll to fret over her. Apathetic bastard...

"What did you have on you when you came here? Do you have any identification, like a license for a magic car, a name on a shoe... You appear to be empty-handed." Crowley questioned, his eyes flickering up and down her visage.

"Apart from your poorly-tailored uniform but correct foot-sized shoes, that's it. Now, that you mention it, I don't have my wallet or phone. And..." [Name] froze and shot up in her chair. "I can't remember my last name! Oh, fuck WHO AM I?"

"This is concerning." Crowley held his chin, speculating on the matter as [Name] held her face in her palms, lightly clawing her nails down her skin and stretching her flesh like a demonic humanoid from a horror movie. Crying. Pathetically.

"I can't just let someone who can't use magic stay at this school." Crowley started, making [Name] jolt out her skin, expecting the utter worse. "However, as an educator, I can't just toss a penniless teenager out on the street with no form of communication."

[Name's] eyes sparkled in hope and awe - was... was Mr Crowley going to help her?

"For I am gracious." Scratch that it was just for his ego. [Name] scrunched up in her nose. Why did she think otherwise?

"Hmmm... That's right!" He boomed, his eureka moment making [Name's] skeleton jump out of her body. He kept startling her and it didn't help he suddenly stood from his chair.

"There is an unused building on campus. It was once used as a dormitory in the past so if you clean it up you should at least be able to sleep there. For the time being, I shall allow you to stay there!" He offered, quaffing a peal of loud laughter. It was diabolical. Like he had created the king of plans. "Then I will look for a way for you to return home. My graciousness is limitless! I am a model for all educators."
