"Fugnaaaa~!!!" Grim released a final exhale of fire at the ghosts, who backed away in pure terror. They huddled next to each other and wailed out in unbridled terror. A terror [Name] would sleep well on that evening because fighting them had caused an ache and exhaustion in her small muscles from thwacking her bat about the place to drive them off in the first place.

Her voice felt a bit hoarse similarly to calling out all the shots for Grim to land a fire attack. She grinned, albeit a bit out of breath. It was a shadowy and sinister grin, sparking a deeper fear into the ghosts.

And she had looked so harmless at first... What an unmagical but surprise-ridden human.

"GAH! We're goners! Run away~~!!" Flocking in separate ways, the ghost vanished into the building's wooden walls.

"E-e? We... won?" Grim stated with shock.

He yelped as [Name] whisked him to her arms and tightly hugged him, his legs dangling as she nuzzled him against her.

"Thank you! We make a pretty good team don't you think?" She squealed gleefully, still receiving a buzz from the adrenaline coursing through her veins. Grim on the other hand was reeling from the fear factor from it all. His ears were pressed against his head and eyes dilated widely.

Grim merely wheezed out, "Ha-hee... That was sc..."

Then Grim realised where he was in. In a human's arms.

"No, I wasn't scared at all! Get off me human!" Grim began to squirm restlessly in her arms. Before he acknowledged his position, he was simply leaning into [Name's] palm as she scratched and stroked him behind the ears to award him like a pet! He was no pet, he liked to think despite the fact he fairly savoured her soothing and long pats. Not that he would ever admit that, no sir.

"Sure, you weren't scared at all." [Name] rolled her eyes, releasing the grumpy arrogant cat-thing onto the wooden floorboards. She gazed outside, relieved that the rain had subsided. It was getting dark extremely quickly... She would have to find a lantern or some lights soon. To her luck, there was one by a rickety staircase at the end of the hall from what she could see. It appeared rustic and square.

"This is nothing for the Great Grim! How 'bout that, ghosts? You done?" Grim bellowed to the empty hallways. Well, they weren't empty for long.

"Good evening. I have graciously brought you supper." Crowley had appeared from behind a door, creaking it open with a grin on his features, a green tray in hand but as soon as he saw Grim, he freaked out and raised his voice. He swished his fingers delicately and the tray floated behind him. "You're the monster that ran amuck during the entrance ceremony! I threw you out of the school, what are you doing here!?"

"Hmph! I exterminated the ghost problem! Be grateful!" Grim huffed, though [Name] could tell he was a bit nervous of Crowley considering how he had slipped between her legs for safety, hiding behind them.

"Nn? What do you mean by that?" Crowley questioned. "Now that you mention it, there were some prankster ghosts living here so students keep away from this dormitory and that's why it's now empty. I'd forgotten that. However, huummm...For you two to work together to get rid of them..."

"I'm not gonna overlook that "together" comment," Grim grumbled but gave a cry as [Name] stepped on his tail - by accident of course. "Oi! What was that for!?"

"I did most of the work!" [Name] denied stepping away from the devilish creature. "I told you where to shoot and was landing my own shots as well!"

"You were just standing there watching. And I did this for a can of tuna!" Grim snarled back before understanding his current situation of lacking his favourite food. "Ah! I haven't gotten that tuna yet!"
