At the sound of a faint pounding resonating from other parts of the house, Ace woke with a groan and a painful squint of his eyes. He, somehow, managed to lull his heavy eyelids open with some guttural grumbles, shifting about to find his arm numb and under a heavy weight.
He quickly discovered this heavy weight was no other than [Name], still softly asleep, her back facing him. Close enough he could smell the remnants of her shampoo - a pleasant apple scenting her hair. It was intoxicating and comforting. He was overcome with a sudden desire to bury his face into her soft tresses and simply breath it in, the thought bringing the cusp of blush to his features.
But, as much as he wanted to and as tempting as it was... he resisted. That was inappropriate and in spite of how much he liked to tease [Name], he barely knew her in reality and he didn't wish to ever make her uncomfortable on his own accord. He wasn't her boyfriend or a close friend - he had no right to do such things. She had let him into her dorm with an open kindness, in her own bed with her, and, even though he had exploited her benevolent nature to get a more comfortable sleeping space... He wouldn't - no, couldn't - betray her trust when she let him rest in her own bed. He wasn't that scummy.
Ace considered drifting back into slumber, to savour this quiet moment some more, but the repeating and unrelenting pounding at the door incited him to get up and gently pull away from [Name] to not wake her. But the way she was squirming from the noise did him no favours. The harsh knocking had reminded him of his dire situation. Oh right. Last night with Riddle, the metal collar was uncomfortably digging into his neck - it was a miracle at all he managed to fall asleep at all.
"Ugh... Deuce." He towed himself sleepily to the foyer and at the sight of Deuce's disappointed but not surprising figure, he wished had stayed in bed.

Three people met the same fate as Ace, Deuce explained. So [Name] was honestly quite looking forward to seeing Ace's apology for this Riddle Roseheart did not seem like he was in the greatest of moods today. Hence, [Name] and Grim decided to accompany him to his dorm room to how Grim put it - observe his apology - and follow her promise. Deuce was also there, briefly surprising [Name] with his visit to her dorm to find Ace in the morning.
With popcorn ready in tow, her pink bottomless magic bag full of all the stuff [Name] could ask for, and filled with a measly and bland meal she managed to gather from Ramshackle's bare kitchen, [Name] was ready for shit to go down.
She adorned the school's uniform that Mr Crewel had intelligently tailored for her before she was a genuine student: a long-sleeved ruffled white school shirt with a black and white ribbon she had knotted into an oriental tie; a pleated mid-thigh coal skirt with golden highlights and a matching blazer alongside. On her arm was a ribbon with Ramshackle's colours - black and white, and speaking of, Grim had a new bowtie, one that wasn't fraying and old. She still wore her black boots with golden threading, black stockings and, for safety measures to not accidentally flash anyone, some black cycling short's underneath her skirt. No doubt was it a cute outfit which had turned some heads on her way to the Heartslabyul dorm. She would have to give thanks to Mr Crewel later cause she looked the bomb.
[Name's] jaw dropped at Heartslabyul dormitory when they finally arrived - it was a literal black, red and white castle. A castle?! With cute heart-shaped rose bushes?!
"This is gorgeous! It couldn't be more different from ours!" Grim effervesced over the surroundings, his eyes sparkling towards the gorgeous white-marble fountain in front of the entrance - everything was so symmetrical and orderly.
"Ours was abandoned for 100 years, of course, it's different Grimbo," she said. "It is leagues better than ours, I admit."
