Hello lovelies!!

The writer is back with an update after a longg time. I hope you guys missed me and this story. Jhuth k liye hi ha boldo coz I really missed being here. :P

Thanks a ton to all those who asked me about my health. I'm doing good now, just a month more and I'll be back to my normal self.

Now back to the story, the updates will be a bit slow as coming back to the usage of gadgets is difficult for me (My surgery involved my eyes and nose.) and being away from here, I feel a bit disconnected with everything. It took me more than a month to type this update. Please bear if it's not upto the mark.

Looking forward to your response.

Ps:- Translations will be added later.

Your writer,
A.

1st December, 1995.

The torch light decimated the darkness of the cinema hall, aiding Manik and Nandini to reach their reserved seats.

"We're on time." Nandini whispers to him as the initial advertisement flashes on the big screen.

"It's just because of my driving skills, otherwise you took the world's time to get ready." Manik taunts her as he'd to wait for so long.

"Because I've to look after everything before stepping out of the house, unlike you." She curls up her lips in irritation and concentrates on the screen with frowns lining her forehead.

"So is it my mistake?" He shrugs not accepting the excuse as he'd well informed her about the timings of the movie.

"Oh surely not. It was me who was being ridiculously choosy for what you should wear and had compelled you to change your clothes for atleast five times." Feeling her narrowed gaze and sardonic tone directed towards him, Manik was tongue-tied.

The reply was crisp but he wasn't shocked at all. The Nandini he married cannot say this but this Nandini sitting next to her can, the only difference was the first month they had spent with each other. He'd taken a promise from her, on the next day of Diwali that she wouldn't think twice before saying anything to him, frankly. He didn't want her to keep anything in her heart as it's get burdening, he knows that feeling. Hadn't he saw her crying and missing her family on the day of Diwali, she wouldn't have never told him and he couldn't have taken her to talk to them. That was the simplest thing he could do for her and he understood, that simple things make her the happiest. So now Nandini was keeping up the promise and for her Manik was no less than some magician who fulfills all her wishes possible and understands her like no one.

Fortunately, the movie began and Nandini's concentration shifted away from him. He sighs in relief and smiles remembering the way he was rejecting her outfits repeatedly because he didn't like any of them and at last she threatened him to choose one by himself or she won't be coming with him.

The back and forth bickerings felt so special to him. It'd kind of spiced up his boring life. At last he finalised a royal blue full length anarkali suit for her and they were twinning as he wore his most special birthday gift, the blue sweater.

The sound of the music echoing in the hall distracted him from his reverie. He wandered his eyes around and found everyone involved in the movie he has no interest in. He has came just for her. It was rare for movies to fascinate him except Sanjay Dutt's movies of course.

He looks at his wife who had a wide smile on her face watching the male lead dancing and troubling around the female lead in the snow when she is drunk. Discreetly, he slips his fingers into hers' and pulls her hand on his lap. Startled, she gapes at him blinking her eyes in shock.
