4th December, 1995.

Sliding away the curtains, Nandini opened one side of the window and let the bright sunshine spread it's warmth in their room refreshing it. Manik let out a low grunt before pushing his face under the pillow, twisting over the bed to dim the glare of the sun on his face. However, during the process the blanket slipped down revealing his bare torso. Sighing, she moved ahead to cover him again but her brows pulled up in shock on noticing a deep dark purple mark on his shoulder. It seemed familiar, to the ones on her body as well and realisation trapped her around immediately.

As the events of last night swam back in her head, she could see herself biting his shoulder to subdue her cries of pleasure, to absorb the myriad of emotions coursing through her body when he eased his way inside her, filling her relentlessly. The feeling was exquisite.

She was pinioned beneath him, his honey brown orbs burning her with love and longing. She was going to her folks' house for three long weeks. One night wasn't enough for both of them to have their fill with each other but they bowed down before their exhausted bodies and slept in the wee hours of morning.

Thinking about last night left her stomach in knots. She can still feel the after effects of their carnal exertions on her body, her bosoms were still tender, her limbs felt heavy as she hardly slept for an hour or two. Her excitement to see her brothers after a month didn't let her sleep even though she was done with her packing. She can sleep peacefully once she reaches Delhi.

With a grin, she prepared their morning tea and stepped inside to wake her husband, who was snoring softly with cool breeze blowing his hair. Drinking in his beautiful sight, she didn't have the heart to wake him up, but she was helpless. It was eight already and he is supposed to get breakfast from the market as said by him. Shyam had savoured the khasta kachori when he visited Lucknow for the wedding preparations.

Sitting by his side, she ran her fingers in his thick hair and nudged him to wake up. Her constant prodding forced him to open his eyes and he was greeted with her angelic smile.

Ah...it just makes his day better. He blinked sleepily followed by a loud yawn as he was still fighting against his sleep.

"Bhaiya would be reaching in an hour." She mumbled guiltily watching him struggling to wake up. He hummed and shifted, burying his face into her stomach, each movement a task in itself. He wished they could've put a reign over their passion last night, but the upcoming distance just broke their barriers.

"Aren't you tired?" He asked in a hoarse whisper, stroking small circles on her back and her breath hitched. She could feel his lips moving over the fabric and his soothing touch spreading warmth inside her.

"Get up and wear something. You'll catch cold otherwise." She said, covering his torso with the blanket and avoiding the topic, her thumb caressing his nape. It was difficult to keep their hands to themselves after a heated night they shared.

However, as much as she loved his proximity, demurity dominated her behaviour. Figuring out the intimation, he got up and kissed her crown before taking his clothes and wearing them.

"Now I'll get to drink my morning tea with you after three weeks." Manik mentioned longingly taking a sip of his tea and sighed. It is his energy drink. It's this time of his day when he is going to miss her the most.

"Two weeks three days." She said in a precise manner and added, "You are coming to take me back." He nodded quietly and chuckled. His wife was literally counting her days she will be spending with her folks, an expression of how much she's yearning for it.

Somewhere he was glad it's just three weeks, all thanks to Parvati and he didn't object. Without her, it was already too much for him.

Swastik had requested for a month but Parvati relented to three weeks. Nandini wasn't disappointed because she could understand her reasons. There would be absolutely no one to take care of the men in the house and the couple was going for a vacation next month. It wasn't nice to put so much burden on Renu alone who is shouldering this responsibility from a long time now without any complaints. Over these days, Nandini found a friend in Renu who did everything in her capability to help her adjust in the new family. It was only because of her support did Parvati allow her visit to Delhi for three weeks.
