13. Invitation

Duryodhana's POV.
From the day of the swyemvar Mitr and I have not been not been in touch, I am disappointed by the news that pandavas are alive.

But I am more disappointed that Arjun's new wife is that arrogant princess who insulted my friend, I will never accept her as a part of our family.

I have never seen such beauty before but to go with this heavenly beauty she has a nasty and arrogant attitude. I am glad that her older sister is different from her.

She stood up for my friend when he was insulted and was sad. I have already gotten so much respect for her.

Also the way she talked was not at all disrespectful or rude even if she was going against her father and sister. She seems like a sister figure to me.

I know I haven't met and talked to her properly but the aura she gives makes everyone feel loved. The love I never got in my childhood.

Mata and Karn were the only ones who gave me selfless love. I have been used most part of my life for example Pitashree is using to fulfill his dream and Mamashree is using me to fulfil his revenge.

When I made Karn king of Angadesh I only did it for selfish reasons that is for defeating Arjun but as time passed I felt this unbreakable bond between us, he was the the ideal father figure that I never had.

As I am thinking all this I realized they I was still in the court room and Pitamah and Kakashree Vidur were literally glowing from happiness, Mata too looked very pleased, Dronacharya was crying happy tears

Ashwathama was looking at me with sympathy and worry written all over his face. I turned to him and gave him a reassuring smile which he responded with a sad smile.

I am sure that Pitamah and Kakashree Vidur are already searching ways to make 'Bhrata' yudhisthira the king, I will never let that happen.

But at the moment I wanted nothing but to be comforted by Mitr Karn he knew exactly how to please me. He is just like the sun, never discriminating, Helpful and warm.

With warm I mean that his aura is so calm and collectiveand which instantly comforts you and also you will forget about your problems in moments.

Everyone in the family are talking about the welcome of the new Kulvadhu of Kuruvansha and now is the only chance that I can meet Karn and Bhabhishree (Advika).

Me : Pitamah, I was thinking that we should also invited Karn.

Bheeshma : And why is that?

Me : He too won the Swyemvar of the eldest Panchal Princess and I want him to be here so we can also celebrate his marriage.

Vidur : You are not wrong, Angadesh does have strong connection with Hastinapur.

Gandhari : Putr Karn is like my own son and his wife is also my Bahu and I want to welcome them.

Me : Also Arjun married the youngest princess of Panchal so the two sister can meet again and discuss about their new married life.

Vidur : Yes, I think it's a good idea and also it's Bhabhishree's wish to welcome them.

Dhridrashtra : Send Invitation to Angadesh.

Invitation was written for Angadesh in which we were congratulating him for his marriage and requesting him along with his newly Wed wife to come to Hastinapur.
