Hi readers! I just wanted to thank you all for supporting my story. This was honestly quite a difficult one to write if I'm being honest since I had to constantly remember the lore of each of the Four Kingdoms whilst also keeping in mind the next course of action for every chapter. This is due to the fact that this story explored the background of how the Four Kingdoms came to be and the secrets behind each of the royal families.

Unlike my previous stories: A Plum Blossom and The Scars Between Us, there wasn't exactly any right or wrong character. Han Yinjie wanted to end the suffering of the royal families but took the violent route which is not justifiable. As for Xin Hua and the others, they wanted to protect the Four Kingdoms because that's what their founders wished in order to protect their people even if it meant generations of suffering. Although, you're free to have your own opinion.

There are also a lot of symbolism in this story like the white butterfly when Lian Yu passes and the peach tree, which is engraved in Chinese mythology (however I did somewhat alter its origins and such).

Even though I previously mentioned that this was likely to be the last book concerning the Four Kingdoms, there is a possibility of more stories. I realized that I had only briefly touched on the Jin Kingdom and I am considering a story for this along with a piece of history mentioned in the One Rise book.

Nonetheless, thank you all for your support and I hope that you continue to do so for my future works.
