Bettys POV
I groaned as I woke up and saw my phone and had two missed calls and some texts from my mom.

I panicked and got up and grabbed my dress and changed quickly. I groaned as I tried pulling up my zipper but I felt someone pull it up for me. I turned around seeing Jughead.

I said "I need to get him my mom is gonna kill me."

He said "I'll drive!"

I nodded and we left.

He parked a block away and I said "thank you! Goodbye!" He nodded and I ran.

I got home and opened the door and saw my mom.

"Young lady where were you!? I have been calling and texting! Your father almost called the police! And don't you dare say you were at a friends because Veronica said you vanished after Cheryl's party!"

I gulped and she said "give me your phone."

I shouted "what!?"

She said "you heard me, give me your phone!"

I said "no!"

She said "Elizabeth Marie Cooper if you don't-"

I shouted "I was almost raped!"

She looked at me and I frowned saying "I...I was...we were playing seven minutes in heaven...and Chuck Clayton...he...he tried to force me and I know how you feel about serpents but one of them offered to let me stay because they didn't want me to hurt myself...none of my friends helped me and I felt so alone...I'm sorry...I tried telling dad but I didn't want too because I was scared..."

I began crying and she hugged me.

I cried holding her "I'm sorry mom...I'm so sorry..."

She hugged me and rubbed my back saying "it's okay...we'll talk about this later okay?"

I sniffled and told her "I'm sorry I lied..."

She said "no...no don't ever feel like that sweetheart okay? Don't."

I nodded and she said "and about that serpent thing...it's okay alright? As long as you trust them."

I nodded saying "I trust...her."

She smiled and hugged me and said "I love you...I won't let anyone hurt you Elizabeth."

I nodded and she said "let's just get some Pops and calm you down."

I nodded and she grabbed her keys and we left. After we had Pops she had to step out to attend to the register and a knock came at the door.

I opened it and saw Jughead and he said "I got worried...cause I don't have your number and you don't have mine..."

I smiled and he smiled at me "you just seemed... really out of it."

I said "thank you for worrying Jughead..."

He smiled and and I smiled back as he said "no girl deserves what happened."

I smiled saying "my mom is grateful you took me in...but I kinda lied saying you were a girl serpent?"

He laughed saying "well...I guess that's fine."

I smiled and said "Jughead..."

He looked at me and I said "my mom could be back at any moment..."

I grabbed a pen and wrote on his hand and said "that's my number, text me okay?"

He smiled and nodded and I smiled back saying "I'll see you..."

He nodded and left and I smiled and shut the door and giggled holding my stomach as Veronica called me.

I frowned and answered as she said "Betty I am so so so sorry! I feel so awful...I...I don't know why I acted like that...can I come over?"

I sighed and said "sure..."

Suddenly my doorbell rang and I opened it seeing her with three baskets and three more i  Smithers hands.

She walked in and hugged me and cried "I'm so sorry..."

I smiled and hugged her saying "it's okay V...I'm just happy your here now..."

She cried and said "I brought everything! Pops, cookies, cupcakes, cake, ice cream. Some of your favorite books..."

I hugged her and she held me and I smiled saying "I love you..."

She said "I'm sorry..."

I nodded and laughed saying "it's okay... just calm down alright?"

She nodded and I held her "you're my best friend and I left you..."

I said "Veronica..."

She cried and I got her to my kitchen and got her to sit.

I gave her some tea as she said "are you okay?"

I said "are you?"

She said "I just felt awful...I saw you and I was like...what do I do, I was speaking with Archie and...I didn't know..."

I smiled and kissed her head and hugged her "you're my best friend Veronica as long as your here now."

She smiled and grabbed a basket "I also have a number..."

She began calling it and said "yes...come to the address for some mani pedis."

I laughed and she laughed as she said "they're gonna be here any minute!"
