Bettys POV
"Scandalous Betty! Tell me all about how it is!"

I scoffed saying "it's private!"

She said "girl shut the hell up about privacy!"

I laughed and she did too and I smiled saying "you're right Veronica! I feel amazing when we do it...I feel free! No rules! Boundaries!"

She laughed and said "told you sex would change your life."

I smiled and muttered out "Veronica..."

She nodded and I said "what if I don't wanna use a condom anymore?"

She scoffed and I smiled and she said "well... have you been to doctors? STD checks? That's serious Betty..."

I said "well I know...would he go?"

She said "he has to go if you're gonna let him leave anything inside you, no offense."

I sighed and nodded and she said "just think about that okay? Don't just go right to it. Take some time."

I nodded and saying "I'm getting a tattoo today....my serpent one..."

She smiled and said "send me pics."

I nodded and we hugged before I left.

I was with Jughead as Toni smiled asking me "where would you like it?"

I said "on my back because I think my mom will less likely see it."

She nodded saying "unless you wear something backless so be careful."

I nodded and Jughead helped me with my shirt and I smiled saying to him "you know I'm thinking about asking my mom to make you serpent king..."

He laughed and said "I couldn't...I need to get it on my own."

I sighed and said "I know. But you deserve it. And I want more time with my mom and dad...then being away makes my father hate that he has work..."

He sighed and nodded and I looked at Toni as she smiled and said "you ready?"

I nodded and I unclipped my bra at the back but still held it and laid down on my chest.

I smiled and said to Jughead "hold my hand?"

He smiled and held it saying "and I'll never let go."

I laughed as he said "alright Toni...do what you can."

She nodded and I winced feeling the needle on my back. After about two hours ish?

She sighed and said "there...just be careful how you move okay?" 

I nodded and she smiled showing me a mirror and I saw and smiled as there was a beautiful rose as a snake coiled up along the way as there was a small crown on the head and the name 'Southside Serpents' at the bottom in cursive.

I smiled and sat up and got my shirt on and Jughead said "you are even more beautiful..."

He kissed me and I held his neck as he smirked and Toni said "please don't have sex in front of me?"

He laughed and said "oh why not?"

I scoffed and hugged Toni and said "thank you Toni...for everything..."

She said "of course Betty..."

I smiled and said "I don't say this often but your like one of my new best friends."

She smiled and my phone rang and I looked and sighed "my moms calling to come home. I'll see you guys tomorrow?" 

They nodded and I left. When I got home I saw my mom as she smiled at me and I squealed.

"Mom...I know you're gonna get mad but look!"

I lifted up my shirt and said "now I'm actually a serpent!"

She said "Elizabeth get that off!"

I said "mom it's a tattoo."

She groaned and I said "why are you so upset?"

She said "because this isn't you!"

I shouted "I've always wanted this! Don't you think it makes me mad when I hear Jugheads friends tell me they grew up as a family with no secrets to hide? I had the exact opposite because of you and dad! All I wanted was to feel loved and I never fit in with anyone here because of who I am, that's why only Veronica is my best friend...come on mom face it! I'm like you more than I will be dad!"

She sighed and I frowned and walked over as I hugged her "please don't hate me..."

She rubbed my back gently and said "your my daughter I will never hate you Elizabeth...I'm just scared that someone will hurt you."

I said "don't worry mom, I have you, Jughead, his friends are now mine...I'm okay..."

She sighed and said "Jughead hasn't told you anything weird about me?"

I laughed saying "mom Jughead even though he wants to be leader very badly, he told me he wants to get it on his own terms okay? So just consider it?"

She smiled and said "you love that boy a lot huh?"

I said "I guess that's one thing dad and I have in common. We fall in love with people that...the universe tells us we shouldn't be with...but we can't help it."

She frowned and I said "dad told me when I first thought about telling him...about Jughead...that he knew he loved you when he felt as if time stopped and it was just you and him..."

She began crying and I hugged her and laughed "mom it's nothing to be sad about...it's just to show how much dad loves you. Even if away...that means there's no home wrecker!"

She laughed gently and I said "are you okay?"

She nodded and said "never better Elizabeth... thank you for telling me okay?"

I nodded and she asked "where's Jughead?"

I said "I think the Southside?"

She said "how about you stay here and I'll go look for him. Start making dinner!"

She kissed my head saying "I love you okay? Make some spaghetti."

I nodded and she left and I sighed and laughed.

I walked over and I called my dad as he answered saying "well I'm usually the one to call."

I laughed and said "well a lot has been going on that I've got to tell you!"

He laughed and I set my phone down as I began getting things to cook.
