Bettys POV
I was at school as suddenly Sweet Pea ran over to me saying "you have to come with me...right now it's about Jughead."

I panicked and gulped saying "what's wrong?"

He grabbed my arm and we left. We got to the Whyte Wyrm.

I said "my mom will freak if I'm here..."

He said "don't worry okay? Because Jughead is more important."

We went to the back and I saw Jughead he had bruises, cuts, he looked awful....

I frowned saying "Juggie..."

I dropped my bag and ran and held his face and he groaned.

I said "what...who did this!"

He sighed and Sweet Pea said "his dad."

I scoffed and Jughead said "why did you say anything?"

He said "she deserves the truth..."

I sighed and I saw Fangs and Toni come in and I hugged Jughead and he rubbed my back.

He told me "when I said to him...I was with a Northsider...he flipped...and now...if I step foot in there I'll be beaten on everyday till I leave you."

I said "Jug...I."

He said "don't say it. We're not breaking up..."

I sighed and said "I need a cloth, something so I can clean him up please?"

They grabbed a first aid kit and I began cleaning his wounds.

He groaned and I said "you're not staying at your dads."

He asked "where else will I go?"

I looked at his friends and they said "our parents are also close."

I sighed and said "you're not going back there please..."

He said "where else can I go Betty? I'm not sleeping on the streets or couch surfing."

I sighed and said "are you sure you'll be fine at your dads? I can't have you hurt."

He said "I'll be fine Betts...trust me okay?"

I nodded and kissed him and he held me and I said "I love you."

He smiled saying "I love you."

I nodded and sighed as I thought for a second and the best idea in this situation possible popped into my head.

"I think I have a place..."

I smirked and he smiled at me. As Sweet Pea drove all of us to my dads small cottage.

When we were in the truck and going through I said "enter through here, it's a gated community."

I saw the guard and he smiled at me "little Cooper welcome back."

I laughed saying "umm...so I talked to my dad recently he wanted you guys to give me a key, my boyfriend is gonna be staying here the next week for family troubles so my dad wants to make sure he's safe."

He said "alright here's the key but...don't be doing anything sneaky."

We nodded and continued on inside. We got to my dads specific cottage and I went to the door.

Sweet Pea shouted "is your dad loaded!?"

I laughed saying "we're well off. Come inside guys..."

They smiled and I opened the door and Jughead said "wow..."

I smiled "it's small but...it'll do."

Jughead hugged me and I laughed as him, Sweet Pea and Fangs went looking around.

Toni came next to me smiling "so you and Jughead are really going far in and along in this relationship huh?"

I sighed and said "I love him and I'm sorry if you feel some type of way..."

She said "no...but you know a sure fire way to keep track of him, if that's what you want?"

I gulped saying "I don't want his dad hurting him like that, I need to do something..."

She smirked saying "what if you become a serpent?"

I said "isn't that...supposed to go by the leader?"

She smirked saying "not exactly...as long as you do the serpent dance...for a girl or if you do the gauntlet for the boys...you don't need the approval of the leader, trust me when sometimes the leader is away serpents join and she doesn't find out for weeks."

I smiled and saying "really?"

She nodded saying "if you want I can teach you the serpent dance...I think Jughead would love it."

I sighed and saw Jughead running around with Sweet Pea and Fangs and I said "you think this would be a sure fire way to be with Jughead? And keep an eye on him?"

She nodded saying "yup."

I sighed and thought more saying "and my mom won't find out?"

She smirked saying "nope."

As she shook her head in the process, I nodded softly and said "would I have to get a tattoo?"

"If you don't need to. But if you do...there are many ways to hide it...such as the back..." she said whilst she rubbed my back.

I sighed and said "I don't know..."

She said "it would be a great and lovely surprise for Jughead I think he would appreciate it."

I nodded saying "I mean I guess he would enjoy that?"

She smirked saying "he would...and once that bat of a serpent Queen retires...you can be Queen with Jughead."

I looked and stared at how happy Jughead was. I rubbed my arms as she said "so? Do you wanna start practicing Friday?"

I gulped and smirked gently and said "how about Saturday this week? That works?"

She said "yeah...we have a deal..."

She shook my hand and I smiled as Jughead said "Betty this is awesome but I can't stay here!"

I smirked saying "I'll talk to my dad okay? My mom doesn't know I'm with a serpent...so I'm sure my dad can keep another secret."

He smiled and kissed me and I held his arms as he said "you are the best girlfriend ever..."

I smiled saying "well...I think now we know a place to sneak off too."

Fangs shouted "get a room!"

I smirked saying "there's a PlayStation installed?"

They ran over and I laughed and Jughead hugged me.

I hugged him back and he said "I don't know what I would do without you, thank you so much Betty."

I said "I'm your girlfriend, I'll always be there for you."

He kissed me and I kissed him back.
