Bettys POV
I played with my food as my dad said "come on eat Betty..."

I shook my head as he sighed and I said "I'm just gonna go to my room."

I got up and went to my room. I laid on my hotel bed as I held Jasper as my dad came in.

"Betty..." he started.

I said "I'm sorry I broke you and mom..."

He sighed and told me "Elizabeth..."

I cried as he said "I never stopped loving your mother...and neither did she..."

I looked at him and he smiled "we both love one another...because you're the one person that keeps us together..."

I smiled as he said "your mother and I rarely speak of this Elizabeth...but your mother was told she could never have kids at a young age..."

I looked at him as he said "we tried for many years...your mother was so close to giving up, especially since we didn't have any family to turn to...but than one day...after a month...she decided to go...and get a procedure but than they told her they couldn't perform any procedure because...she was pregnant with you."

I gave a soft smile as he smiled at me.

"I never knew that..."

He told me "your mother was just grateful we had you. And you were all and enough that we needed."

I frowned and said "I want my family back..."

He sighed and I cried as he held and hugged me tightly.

"I know sweetheart..."

I cried and said "I'm sorry..."

That day I went to my old home and knocked on the door, I saw my mom as she looked upset. I sighed and she closed the door behind her.

"Betty...is there something wrong."

I said "it's all my fault..."

She said "what is?"

I said "you and dad...everything."

I cried and said "this isn't right, you always loved dad..."

She held me and I cried as she said "and I still do...so much..."

I asked "then why did you do it?"

She frowned saying "I have no excuse...I missed your father so much...I became desperate for that attention...and I hurt the two people I love most in this world..."

I frowned and she kissed my forehead and I said "than make it work with dad...why are you even with Mr Jones?"

She sighed and said "he just..."

I said "mom...what're you not telling me?"

She frowned and looked down and sighed.

I asked "is he hurting you?"

She sighed and I said "mom..."

She went into her pocket and wiped her cheek.

I saw the blue bruises and panicked "I cant control that man anymore..."

I frowned and said "we need to go tell this to someone!"

She said "Elizabeth we can't...if we do..."
