Bettys POV
I woke up bright and early for Christmas Eve. I kissed Jugheads cheek and I went downstairs. As I began making batter for cookies my mom came down in her little black robe, all fancy. 'Just enough for your mothers desires' as my dad likes to say. It had ostrich feathers at the ends of the sleeves and the ends of the robe itself.
I smirked at her as she saw me and gasped covering herself more.

"Elizabeth...uhh why are you up so early?" She asked me.

I smiled saying "don't worry mom, it's nothing that is to be ashamed of, Jughead and I did it last night."

She scoffed as I said "kidding..."

She sighed and I said "so...is the romance still there?"

I held her hands as she smiled saying "I will always love your father Elizabeth, you don't have to worry about anything okay?"

I smiled and she began crying and I said "oh mom..."

I hugged her and she held me saying "it's nothing bad...I'm just happy to be here with your father...I miss him a lot...this trip made me realize...I will always be in love with your father...and I will always choose him before anyone else."

I said "mom that's so romantic..."

She said "come on, let me get something more appropriate on and I'll help."

I nodded and she went upstairs. I smiled and squealed to myself as I continued baking. When Jughead came down he groaned and saw me icing cookies.

"I thought something smelled incredible..."

I laughed and he licked the icing and I scoffed.

He smiled saying "delicious frosting."

He suddenly grabbed the cookie and ate it whole. I scoffed and he smirked as he chewed.

I said "you're dead!"

He began running as I chased him with icing. As my mom and I finished with both the baked goods and food as my dad and Jughead were downstairs and helped get everything on the table.

We sat down in our seats and my dad poured us champagne saying "a little won't hurt, and you both have two adults here so no need to worry."

We all sat down as my dad held his glass saying "I'm going to make a toast to both my beautiful girls, my wife and daughter for making this beautiful buffet for us for Christmas. But also because even from far away they still trust me and come to my aid."

I smiled and he said "but I would also like to say a thank you to the other man sitting at this table, Jughead. Thank you for taking care of my daughter at her lowest and highest. You are respected in my home."

I smiled and held his hand tightly as he rubbed mine.

"So let's be grateful for everything we have right now before us guys. Let's dig in."

I smiled and began eating the food as time went by Jughead and I were eating different desserts as I gave him some cake and he ate it. He smiled and suddenly gave me a small box.

I said "really?"

He said "open it, it's not your real gift just an early one."

I sighed and lifted the lid off and saw the two rings.

I smiled as he said "the ones at the shops...you... Juggie you didn't have to..."

He smirked gently saying "you deserve everything Betts. I had a few bucks to spare..."

I smiled and he slipped one of them on me and I slipped on his and he kissed me.

I kissed him back and held his face saying "you're perfect..."

He laughed and suddenly my dad was in front of us.

I said "really dad?"

He said "your mom actually wanted to talk to you."

I was confused as I got up and went to another room. I saw my mom pacing back and forth.

She said "Elizabeth..."

She held my hands and and panicked saying "I...I think I made a mistake..."

I said "what kind mom?"

Suddenly my dad said "uhh...I know I might be interrupting but...I have a question for the both of you."

We looked at him as he said "I know it's sudden but...my job is allowing me to transfer back to Riverdale...in the Spring?"

I smiled and he said "I wanted to know if you two are okay with me going home?"

I smiled and looked at my mom as she smiled and nodded and began crying.

We hugged him and he held us saying "I tried really hard to make this work, I'm so happy..."

I cried holding him as he rubbed our backs saying "I get to go home and be with my family...this will be our best Christmas ever."

I smiled and my mom smiled with me making us immediately forget what she wanted to tell me.

That night when I was in bed I said "can you believe it! My mom and dad are reconnected! And now he's moving home! Can this year get any better!?"

He nodded and kissed me and I smiled saying "this is the best thing for me right now Juggie. And now...I have one little extra Christmas surprise for you."

He said "is it new shoes? Jacket? Beanie?"

I smirked and went into the bathroom and came out soon enough saying "you mentioned your little fantasy's in your sleep...specifically dreams."

He scoffed saying "well...I think I would like for an elf to visit me."

I smiled saying "nope."

He scoffed and I said "I'm not gonna have sex with you cause what if my parents come by!"

He began to beg "please?"

I smiled and he kissed me, I held his neck and he rubbed my back as I got on top of him and he held my back. He smiled and began untying the back of my outfit.

Suddenly we heard "oh my god!"

I got off of Jughead and saw my dad and he slammed the door.

I said "I told you so..."

He smirked saying "we can still go on."

I scoffed and he ran over and locked the door.

I rose my eyebrows saying "why is it always the guy who wants sex?"

He said "because doing it alone is very very sad?"

I laughed and he kissed me and I kissed him back.
